    I purchased this in a hurry because I cancelled my COX Television account and had return in their MODEM which I was renting from them. My Router is an older NETGEAR N750 and I felt it best to use this MODEM to maintain compatibility with the older router. Rarely give a top rating because there is always room for improvement, no matter how new or how old the product may be. Especially true for technology equip,ment.

    Rather than pay a monthly rental fee to Cox Communications when we moved and re-started with them, I went to Best Buy and purchased this cable modem. Normally, I do online research before purchasing items, but this time I went by price and brand name. The modem is small and it works fine for our needs.

    Great product from a great company. Absolutely zero issues. Connected the modem. Contacted my ISP. Within 10 minutes I was up and running on my new Cable Modem.

    The cable modem is working perfectly. The speeds promised are awesome. My download speeds for 2008 Mac Pro tower connected via cat5 ethernet cable (going to purchase a cat 6 soon) went from 12.9 Mbps to 240Mbps and my uploads are over 10 Mbps from .86. Yeah, I switched from DSL but still! And it's always a good day to not lease less than stellar equipment from providers.
