Very affordable and works great with fast downloads.

Bought as a replacement for a Motorola surfboard modem (went through two of those in about three years). This modem was easy to set up, allows for very fast data transfer, but gets quite warm, so be sure to allow for adequate ventilation. I've owned for about two months and no problems so far.

Purchase this modem only if you are going to stream more than 30 Mbps. I personally wanted to stream at 50 Mbps & had to upgrade to a DOCSIS 3.0 modem. The modem works as advertised, video streams more reliably without the video stalling.

Easy set up, much better than paying the monthly rental charge from Time Warner. If this is to replace the cable company's modem, make sure to take it with you when you return the old one so they can scan in the information. That way your cable feed will recognize modem that's not their's.

This is an awesome router at a great price point. It has definitely increased my upload and download speeds. Modem does not take up a lot of room like the Motorola ones but provides similar specs at a better price point

The NETGEAR CM400-100NAS modem is relatively small, easy to connect and position, and reliable for good, up-to-date tech w/ ISPs. The little feet snap on - you might have to look at a picture to get that right.

I was reviewing my Time Warner bill for internet access and found that I was paying $10 per month for the use of their modem. For the price of 1/2 year's rental, I bought my Netgear modem, got it paired with my system, and haven't looked back. TTFN, TWC !

Works great, for speeds up to 300 mbps. And best of all. it beats paying the local cable company $8.00 a month to lease one, because they don't think you're smart enough to figure it out. I would recommend this Netgear product to anyone with standard internet needs.

I was at the bestbuy store for a modem and the staff recommended me this wonderful device which is totally worth the money spent on it . I have had it for over a month and it's performing well than I thought . Your search for a modem stops at best buy as they have a very friendly staff that can answer your queries.

I bought this modem to replace a similar unit from Motorola. Unlike Motorola, this Netgear modem did not drop WiFi not even for a single day. Works as it suppose to work. Though Netgear is built a bit cheaper and creates a lot more heat than its competitor.
