Very good alternative to renting from internet service provider. Fast set up and power up.

Router is good if you set it up for its intended purpose. If your buying as a access point or extending your WiFi the nighthawk app will not let you configure. You have to sign in using a computer and manually plugging in the router to your laptop or cpu. I would go into more detail but that would be a novel. Once again basic use great access point thumbs down.

The front of the box says it capable of 1000 mbsp and I tried this router for a long time I spend 3 hours troubleshooting with netgear, is only capable of 100 mbsp ! Don’t buy it if you plan to use with higher speeds from your internet provider.

Writing a review about the NETGEAR AC1000 Router is easy for me. This is the third NETGEAR router we have as this is a large building with lots of areas to be covered. We have found from past experience the all NETGEAR routers we now have are far more superior to the routers of other manufacturers in reliability, signal strength, and coverage. We will always buy NETGEAR equipment.

Fast router. I have Verizon Fios internet, 200 mbps and haven't had any issues with this router. I always have fast, reliable service, it's never cut out on me. I also like that I was able os et up guest wifi names and passwords to protect my main household wifi.

It's been almost ten years since I bought a new router. I suddenly needed one and was told Netgear was a good company. The price point was good so I bought it. It was very easy to install the router. The instructions were clear and the router started working without any problem. I wish every electronics purchase could be like this. I'm online a lot but am not downloading huge files or a hardcore gamer. So the speed is good for my needs.

This Netgear WiFi Router is very easy to install, and Netgear provides technical support to walk you through the process and answer all questions that come up. Besides the speed and easy settings when logging in, it has a power saver button that I can simply turn on or off. The connections are reliable ,and the brand is top rated. The range covers my devices throughout my home with no problems . Awesome.

We bought this router to replace an older router that was no longer working correctly. Read the reviews, and was a little worried it would take time to set up, but it was actually super easy and quick to get up and running. Our cable doesn't take full advantage of the speed of this router, but was a tremendous upgrade for us. Have not had one single issue since installing it. I would recommend this router for households like ours that would, at most, have a Roku stick and two phones/tablets in use at the same time.

Since I got The Netgear dual band router, my internet speed has improved. My room is far from the router is and I still having wifi. Has the dual band feature and is very easy to conect it. Good price too.

I was having trouble with my old router constantly having to be restarted. I updated the firmware and it still didn't help. I bought this router on sale to replace my old one as I do not have a large house. This router is 10x better than my other one and I have my computers and phones on 5G! It also comes with a nice phone app where you can make any changes necessary. Would recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive dependable router.

My OLD router wasn't cutting it, so I purchased this one, due to price, and i haven't been disappointed. I had to download the app and once downloaded, it was easy to set up and operate. With its features, I'm able to have more control of who's on and usage. It can handle all the devices connected and haven't had any problems. The device and price satisfied my needs.

I am doctoral student and research assistant, and use internet for about 18 hours a day. Because I often work from home, I rely on internet at home. I bought this devise sometime in 2022 to replace an older version of it. It is working perfectly since without any interruption.
