Awesome price and awesome range works great for my 1850Sq ft home the speed great for all my WiFi needs

Netgear lives up to it's name, would not buy any other brand. New router does as stated, no issues,easy setup. Unit delivers a wifi signal to a 2086 sq ft home. It also provides a signal in the backyard.

Easy to use and transfer files! No problems at all just contect to your router and follow directions and wifi is there

It was past time to upgrade to dual band. This is a great router with easy set up, fast (enough) speeds and easy controls through the online genie.

It allows you to upgrade your WiFi to support new AC devices, for up to 15 devices and 1,000 square foot coverage. The high-speed 5 GHz band can support more demanding activities, such as online gaming and video streaming. What a great all around router.

Solid performer at a good price point for lite to medium internet use. It won't feed the bits well for multiple high use devices, but for a few users web browsing and one streaming session or even two streams, it should serve you well. But if you have a lot of high bandwidth streams going at the same time you will quickly overwhelm it's capabilities. Get the right tool to do the job.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do! Easy to set up and seems reliable so far, good signal through the whole house.

I was in a bind and needed a quick router for a friend. The local BB was open and this was on sale. Since this was to be used in a small home with one occupant, the device-width of AC1000 will be just fine (and he does no gaming) This was reasonably easy to set up (using the local Netgear login) and his three devices all performed nicely. That said-- this device is not up to the challenge of a family of five with five phones, three streaming TVs, a game console and five laptops. You will need to step up to the bigger Nighthawk AC3200 or bigger lines.

This Netgear router is great for lower internet speeds. We can watch movies, videos even with multiple users. Setup was simple. Range is good for our 2000 square foot home. I even get a good signal outside on the porch or garage.

I decided I needed a new router, and upon visiting the local Best Buy, the staff there were patient and more than happy to answer my questions. I was then able to compare individual devices, and zeroed in on this one here. Got guests at home but you don’t want them hogging your bandwidth? No worries, as this router gives you the option of signing on to either 2G network, or a 5G one — both password protected, of course. Plus point, you can control this router by a proprietary app called “Nighthawk”: change wifi name and password; kick a device out of your network; reset the router, etc. Set up, forget, and use — that is the beauty of a product and service you can trust for years to come. Of course, in times of troubles, the Geek Squad (at Best Buy) is only a call away.

I've been able to get a signal in areas of my home that were dead spots. The speed is fast and it is a reliable router.

This router operates and functions very efficiently. I did not experience any issues setting up, it was relative easy. At this price range it offers a good value. I have purchased more expensive routers and not received a greater benefit. I recommend the Netgear-AC1000 for anyone who has a smaller area and a limited amount of devices, it works well.
