A good choice for those looking at dual band but don’t need ridiculous gaming speed or who don’t have gigabit Internet service at home. Easy to setup. Decent range in a one story house.

Bought for a small condo. Setup is simple and Netgear provides all the key info to get it done. It does a great job covering a 1,000 sqft condo inside and out on the porch

Both the setup and the internet speed are fast and easy! Great coverage throughout the whole house (1600 sq. ft.) and most of my yard! I am very glad I got it!

A good router for the price. The installation was easy but the setup had a few challenges. The app you download to setup the router worked great until I wanted to change the password and then some problems occurred. It wouldn’t recognize my personal password and froze. I had to reset it and leave the default password at first. I was finally able to change the password later. The router itself works great and signal strength throughout the house is awesome.

I purchased this for my dad but oddly he ended up not needing it. So I brought home and replaced mine which was getting a bit wonky. Super easy to set up and seems to work a lot better! Keeping it,

Netgear AC1000 router very easy to install. Setup was very easy much better setup then previous Netgear router. Router has long range through the house. I highly recommend to anyone have a router 5 years old.

So far, so good. Hasn't skipped a beat, quick setup, has no trouble accommodating my internet speed and handles multiple devices seamlessly. Highly recommend.

It’s not too expensive. Perfect for a single person to use it. And it works very well when there were multiple friends coming over and using at the same time. Been having this for over a year, it’s always on, and never has any problems.

A family member's router failed while I was visiting, and they needed an upgrade for Ring devices. This router has a great range, and was an easy set up.

I installed this in a small area so I would have internet access and also to host my DVR's for a multi-camera system. The product works great and I have no issues viewing my cameras either locally or from offsite.

Bedroom is in 3rd floor with the modem in the basement, helps with boosting signal . Plus have a few extra wifi options! Plus app is very easy to use !

This Router replaced the outdated router I received from our cable company that we started to have connection issues with. This router has been significantly better and very easy install. We now have a great range in connection in the backyard which we never had before!

it not as expensive as other ones but it good for small house and it enough for me and it does it job so i recommend this to single family house. work with spectrum internet.

Netgear is my go-to brand for wi-fi routers. My previous Mac Time Machine, which is a combo wifi router and backup 2 TB external backup disk, finally gave out. I've had two, the smaller first generation and the larger second generation Time Machine. You can have them set to automatically back up the MacBooks but I don't think Apple makes them anymore since they didn't seem to last. So Netgear it is. Used this brand at my office. This one's for an average size home and not many people or devises using it simultaneously so Best Buy sales person recommended this AC1000 model and it works great. Easy to set up, and it worked immediately once all my devises got connected to it with a new password.

We live in a two story house with lots of walls separating all rooms. We get good signal anywhere in the house, from the basement to the garage. Easy to configure and set up.

Very easy to hook up and connect. So far it is working great. Would highly recommend it to anyone. It seems to be a great replacement for my old router and seems even a bit faster.

Except for few packet loss issues (while using 2.4 Ghz), this is good. I am not factoring packet loss to the router performance since there could be multiple causes and I had similar issue while using xfinity's own router too. Note: Parental control is discontinued by Netgear and it isn't available in the router. Verdict: For a mid size home with no think walls, this will serve the purpose. Easy to install & configure (you do not need an expert).

Great product for the price, I did have to reset it a couple times but since then it’s been great. Good speeds and covers my 1,265 sq. Ft. House

Had to replace my much older router after 8 years, older technology without the AC and 5G compatibility. Heard great things for this Netgear AC1000 Dual Band. Setup was a breeze and fits my needs actively using for up to 4 devices in smaller home.

Our internet capability is once again working with the new Netgear Router. Selected this router because the it was small and would fit in our computer hutch
