To be the cheapest router at my local Best Buy, it provides decent speeds and gives internet access to my 1600 sq ft home. I recommend for basic internet and streaming wifi!

I bought this for my college apartment. It's plugged into a Comcast modem and we have great coverage and downloads (although a small space). Setup was easy and no issues.

Setting up this router was quick & easy. The price for this was on the lower end, but it more than gets the job done for my home. The range is more than enough, and I have not had any issues with it in the month since I bought it.

I bought this to replace another router and paid the same price I did for the older one and got better coverage in my house. It was easy to set up and get working. Took only about 10 minutes.

Easy to install. Good range for a house. I also get a signal through many walls. Nice and unobtrusive design. Highly recommended.

I had to upgrade my router, I had a Netgear router that lasted me 6 years, and when I went online to get it, it was all sold out. I found this one and decided to go for it, it was only $10 more than the other model. WOW, I love that you are able to use the app to control it, allow a password for visitors which is great. I really do like all the features this one has and the other one lacked, granted it was 6 years old. They came a long way and the speed is awesome. I would recommend this router if you are on the fence about another brand - do Netgear!

Purchased this in store and was the least expensive option for a router. I thought that it would be all that I need for a small 580 sf apartment. I don't run too many devices and I don't game. Works perfect for my low needs!

Bought this to replace an old netgear that the 5ghz channel died. It works great, faster than the one it replaced. Setup was with a phone app. Follow the instructions and it is a snap.

College life! If you want wifi in your room, this is the router to get. It will cover all your products in your room ( cell phone, computer, printer, PS4, blue-ray ) plus one or two of your neighbor's. Easy and quick setup.....

I was having some frustrating wifi speed problems after upgrading my service and it turns out that my wifi router is 7 years old. Yikes! I swear I bought it yesterday! Where the heck does time go?? I decided to also go with an upgrade to my router now that I'm making much more money than back then when I dropped $19.99 on the one I had. The difference since installing the NETGEAR AC1200 is like night and day.

I've had the unit for a year and have never had a problem. The reason I got this was to replace the one that my service provider used. I got tired of the issues. Not only that, it's invisible to anyone passing by.

The router was an easy set up. I was able to get both a 2G and a 5G network up and running in 5 minutes. Admin screens are easy to navigate, and offer a difference for casual users and power users who like to get "under the hood" and tweak features. Tested throughput, and there didn't seem to be any latency...84Mbps over Wifi. The downside? I got to connect it to my new gigiabit Internet service, and the technician politely told me the cable (the one included in the package) didn't have all the pairs to support a GB connection. So here I bought a gigabit router, and the cable doesn't allow me to connect it to a gigabit ISP? Don't forget to buy the cable!

Ok router but it lacks many of the connectivity features available on server grade hardware. I guess the features that 99.9% of the population wouldn't use.

I bought this to extend my range outside in a weather proof box and this has some really good range and is nice and small. Good little router

Everyone always tells you to buy this product or that product, and most of the time it is very expensive either way. Not so in this case! Extremely inexpensive and works like a dream!

This router works great. Had to upgrade to extend the signal to the Pool area. Worked great.

Bought the unit for my mother’s townhouse. It was extremely easy to setup and the range is more than adequate. No need to spend a lot more unless you are needing extensive range capabilities or multiple floor coverage.

I'm really pleased with my new NETGEAR AC1000 Router from Best Buy. It was easy to install & set up, and I had the Internet going on my Laptop in a matter of minutes ! I would recommend its purchase to Anyone. :)

Router was inexpensive and worked just fine in our home. Our home is a two-story and it did not take long to locate the router to get good performance throughout the house.
