I needed a router since my last one failed miserably. Went in to bestbuy, was looking on my own when one of the representatives suggested this would be a good router for my needs. Runs home computer and two wi-fi at the same time without any problems, I have about 2500 square feet and it works great.

I am my family's IT person. I worked in it for a few years (got tired of the 24/7), so I'm quite comfortable configuring these. I bought this for a family member. She was having buffering issues on her Roku, and her old router was 5-6 years old, so I knew it was time for an upgrade. I got a good price on it, but I deliberately chose this slightly higher performance router to make sure she had a strong signal throughout the house. It has definitely met that need. Router makers have come a long way in making it easier for home users to set up a router, since many of their customers are not familiar with networking. What I like about this router is it is relatively easy to set up without completely compromising security. However, if you are comfortable with the technology, this router offers a lot of nice features that put it on a higher level than your basic home routers.

So I built a shop on my property. It’s over 60ft away from my home. I took a cat 5 cable from my comcast modem/router . To this nighthawk router to have WiFi in my shop. Works great signal is strong . I have cameras and WiFi switches on this,they work great as well .

I have a 150mbps Internet plan, and was paying the provider $12/mo to rent their equipment. Upon speaking to the techs at BestBuy I purchased this dual band wifi router. Now it doesnt get as fast of speeds as the hardwired devices, but its pretty comparable and for the most part I dont notice the difference. Would give 5 stars but every now and again some of my connected devices will disconnect for no apparent reason.

The Netgear AC1200 router was very easy to install and replace my old, outdated Cisco router. Only took a few minutes to install and begin to use. The performance of the Netgear 1200 has been excellent since I put it into use.

This is a great deal for an AC ROUTER and not having to pay $100 for it.

Our FIOS router was failing on the 2.4 Ghz band. After multiple attemps with customer support to get it replaced I decided to buy another router and create another subnet off of the Fios unit. I will have have to says that it is working very well. It was easy to set up. It has good configuration features if you want or need to tweek to you own situation. Im glad I got it as the FIOS unit completely failed a few days later on the 2.4 band. Its top end throughput isn't the highest I have seen but I didnt spend 300 bucks on it either like I have in the past. I have 4 pcs 2 kindles and multiple cell phones. So far no complaints. After owning this unit about 2 months I would recommend this unit if a router is what your looking for without spending a ton of money.

It's strong enough to use three devices at the same time, with fast internet. Overall satisfied.

This wireless router works great with good range. Great wifi speed as well. Easy admin control.

Bought this to be installed with local internet service provider. Works great, no complaints.

I just hooked this up at my office about 3 hours ago. It has dropped the connection once, but the speed and range is so much better than the old Belkin I had. We only have a 50MB down/1MB up internet service, so we can't fully utilize a super fancy router. This does the trick!

The sales person said that the Netgear had the least problems so we decided on this one. It was easy to set up but I could not open up the router to change any of the settings. All our computers, Ipad and thermostat worked. Called customer service, which is outside of the US and hard to understand and they could not help fix the problem, several times. I tried loging in to the router from my browser by 192.168.1.1 and that did not work. After a month or so I was at Best Buy and told a sales person my problem with the router and she went to speak with the Geek dept and they told her to tell me to reset the router to factory reset and if that doesn't work to bring the router back and they would exchange it. I waited a few days and all of a sudden one day I was able to get into the router from the netgear genie. Don't know what happened but it all of a sudden started working without me having to reset the router. It now works fine, Netgear Customer Service is not good.

Purchased this router after my other one was starting to act up and needing to restart often. The NetGear AC1200 was easy to setup and has lots of safety features. I noticed a speed difference right away. Bought it on sale, so it was a no brainer to upgrade. 5 Stars!

This is a powerful enough router to handle for devices including a MacPro computer ( the big one affectionately called "the beast"), a Sony 4K television, AppleTV, and a wireless Blu-ray player. All this and not a single flaw in the signal. It is a reasonable price and a great product.
