Before purchasing my Netgear AC1200 Router, I downloaded the Owner’s Manual from the Netgear Website. Careful study of the Manual prepared me for what I thought would be an involved process. After purchasing the AC1200, unwrapping and connecting the unit per the enclosed guide and powering it on, what a pleasant surprise I received! All of the necessary addressing port and connecting information was quickly shared between my Modem and the AC1200. In 10 minutes I was up and running completely wireless on my new AC1200! Super, Fast and easy, a Big Thank You, Netgear for a totally quick painless setup protocol! The Netgear Genie software is also easy to setup and run.

Bought this to replace my dated D-Link wireless router. Far better range with this, no more dead spots in my 2400 sq ft house. Not the latest and greatest but works with my level of internet speeds.

This is an excellent router. Before I bought it my tablet would frequently drop the wireless signal. Now that I'm using this router - no more dropped signals. Great solution at a reasonable price!

Bought for my dad whose router was going out. After it automatically downloaded a firmware update, it was essentially plug and play and has been running strong since it was installed.

We're using this in a small (non-home) office. No problems with this router. At first I balked at the price but it's been very reliable and super fast - albeit, I'm no expert when it comes to routers.

Definitely works better than my previous N-router. However, I may need even more umph than this. With 10 devices on my network and 5 of them full-time, I still get the slows at times. As far as ease of setup, I had to go with tech support and it took an hour to get it working so be advised.

Quick easy setup using the Netgear app. Love the dual band WiFi. It allows me to run my laptops on 1 band and my smart TVs on the other without loading or latency issues.

I had a old router and was complety upset about not getting enough wireless speed for my start tv and Apple TV. I have 60gb internet at my place but the old router would just give me 5gb. I bought this one and now I am getting 56gb.

Router is easy to set up. Range is exceptional in 2 bedroom apartment. Unit is fairly large but with that said, it blends in well with others home entertainment components.
