Great router for the price with fast speeds and reliable,

My old linksys router was not giving me the max bandwidth so I upgraded to thedual band netgear r6220. I haven’t had any issues with it in the last 2 years. I luv the speed and the features. I can limit bandwidth and network access to any device connected to it.

When my router quit working the tech in the store recommended this one. Not too expensive but works good. The only thing I am disappoint with is that I don’t seem to be able to block websites with it by logging in to it. There is a spot to block them but it doesn’t work.

While this router would work out of the box for most users, I had to make changes to handle a static IP address and configure for an existing network. Nearly every change required the router to reboot, which is a 1-2 minute process. Once you get past the configuration hassles, it works great with a good range.

I upgraded from a N200 router to this, the speed is so much better, but it seems to disconnect at random when playing Xbox online. The 5G connection only seems to be recognized on my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge but never my laptop or any of my gaming consoles, whereas my last router allowed it's 5G to be recognized on all platforms.

Excellent, excellent!!! Such speed with my fast internet. Had an order wifi wireless router and was getting nowhere until i was blessed to purchase Nighthawk. Took me only 15 minutes to have everything connected. No more buffering with my Roku either!!!

Went to best buy to get a new router. The sales girl showed me several. We both decided it was exactly what I needed

Great router for home. No need for upgrading in the near or far future. Plenty of abilities for a multi-device home.

I had a Comcast modem-router, and the router was dual band. The problem was the low band was between 4 and 14 mbps. The low band caused buffering on streaming radio. The high band was around 120. So I got this Netgear router. Here the range is maybe 15 to 40 on the low band. The high band is also 120 mbps. The only problem is sometimes when the low is around 15, I get some buffering on streaming movies. I live in condo with many Comcast users. And also, perhaps many Netgear users. Maybe that is the reason why I don't get a consistent performance from the router. Still this router is an improvment from what I had. The problem for me is that some of my devices that I rely on -- an old roku, Logitech Squeezebox radios, etc., no longer made -- do not recognize the high network on the dual band router. So I need good, consistent performance on the low band network.

Great router for a large home very powerful and reliable

Love it, recommend for anyone try to make their home wireless.

Easy to setup, easy to do special configurations. While it does require some hoops to jump through to find the special settings that can be customized, but it's well worth it. The neatest part is that this can be used as a Range Extender/Repeater! Not something that you see as an option for most routers. Great buy!
