Not as fast or more powerful than the one it replaced.

We recently moved from a building that offers Verizon Fios to a building that offers Spectrum Cable. We needed to set up a new WiFi network and chose this Netgear model for the price and ease of setup. After a couple of false starts due to issues with the way Spectrum interfaces with Netgear software, we got the WiFi network set up. Our 2 Bedroom apartment is fully covered by the WiFi signal but the internet connectivity leaves something to be desired. While speedtests over WiFi are acceptable in the 150mbps download speed range, the internet connectivity is glitchier than what we experienced on Fios. We don't know if it is our ISP or hardware.

This is my first dual band router and it works perfectly. I use the faster 5g band for my TV and the other band for my tablets. I get excellent speeds on both bands. Router updates are easy using the Netgear app.

I use these for wifi connection to audio visual products, audio mixing consoles and lighting system controllers. The range is good and the set-up is simple for my application.

Replaced an older Netgear router that failed. It was easy to setup. Worked without problem with wired connections using the ethernet ports. The wireless setup was easy and worked without problem.

I bought this because my wifi signal was too weak around the house and this device its just great. Although it is not that cheap but it did help a lot. Instructions are very easy to interpret.

I have been using this router for a couple of months and so far I like it. It was very easy to install, just plug and use. With my old one, I had to call their customer service to help me set up the router. Highly recommended.

i purchased a netgear motem and router from best buy- so that i did not have to lease the combo router /motem from century link --the price was good and when i needed help netgear was great at helping me set it up

Had to update a very old wireless router. This one set up fast and easy. Good coverage and getting 4k wireless to the tv. Cheap and easy. No problems after about 30 days here.

Easy to install and set up. Worked well right out of the box. Stronger than previous one supplied by the cable company. Have one weak spot/dead spot in far end of house. Other than that little problem, all is good.

IF you are a gamer or just tired of the bad service the default modem/router puts off GRAB THIS i have time warner and the default erris all in one always threw us offline got this badboy and it fixed that issue right quick!

Works very well for my needs. I don't use wifi 24/7.

This was the easiest router set up I have ever had. Had it up and running in like 2 minutes. It even switched to my old wifi name and password with very little effort.

I bought this to replace my ISP's router. It was easy to setup. However I am not getting the speed I was expecting. Slightly slower than my ISP router. It does get the job done.

Old router was a little slow with new updated modem. My sons online games started lagging. Upgraded router with new modem and were back to surfing and gaming with ease. 4 stars cause nothings perfect

works great in the house, good reception and not to big

I have no complaints so far with the AC1200, easily handles 5-6 devices and WiFi works well in our 2300 sq ft home. I almost bought another more expensive model and brand. Glad I didn't, the 1200 does everything we need it for.

So far so good... This item is great for streaming.
