I upgraded to this router and I am extremely pleased with my purchased. I am getting much faster connections and it was so easy to set up, that is why I am so glad I purchased this Netgear router.

I researched this router and I found a real gem. It has served me consistently, with little maintenance. The app is simple and handy to use.

The Netgear router performs as advertised and is much faster than our old router that stopped working so we had to replace it. We had purchased the protection plan so we were covered!

I bought this router to help alleviate what I considered a moderately high ping time for my Xbox. I game a couple hours after work to relax, but it's hard to relax with lag. It definitely helped some but most of my issues are in the physical hard line from the pole to the house it seems so it didn't go away completely. It replaced a Trendnet that I got on sale several years ago so it was a noticeable improvement. Wi-fi works as it should, no complaints. My main reason for purchasing were the hard lines gigabit ports which also work as they should. Great router for the price (I paid $70 when I purchased).

I purchased this Router last year, had to replace it because of a lighting strick. Best Buy replaced no charge, One of the best Routers I have had.

This router significantly increase my range of reception as well as my downloading speed while using my PS3 and Blu Ray Player for Netflix. I was previously using the Netgeat N600 Dual Band Router.

Had no issues with new Windows 8 computers connecting but had issues with connecting older computers in the house. I had to deal with NetGear a few times to get things resolved. It does not seem any faster than my old router even though it is suppose to be faster.

I got this router because I live in a rural area and the satellite internet service was horrible in my home. The Netgear has expanded the signal making use of the WiFi a lot better

I've always preferred Netgear routers. This router was easy to set up and I've had zero issues with it. I've one computer hard lined in and everything else is connected wireless.

I don't know much about routers and modems. However, after speaking to friends and Best Buy associates, they helped me get the right router for the internet speeds I should be having. I now get what I should at home, and I also have the option to connect to a 5G network, or a standard network, depending on what device I have available to me at the time. For example, my HP Envy 5660 printer uses the standard network, but all of my other smart appliances use the 5G network, and I have never seen a blip. This could be because of the internet service I have, but I also believe it to be caused (in part, at least) by the router. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a new router.

I know slightly more than zero when it comes to Wi-Fi Routers but this was easy to set up. I have a 780 SqFt place and this unit does the trick. Streams my netflix so I'm happy.

I previously had a N -300 NETGEAR Router which became outdated for my streaming needs, so I upgraded to a new NETGEAR product (the AC 1200). Now I have faster download speeds and better upload speeds. My computer works faster and this device can handle up to 8 streaming devices in your household. You will be satisfied with your purchase of this device. There is also A NETGEAR app for your smart phone for which you can access and control your NETGEAR router.

Easy installation and good range / coverage. Remember to change the router password for safety. I recommend this router to my customers frequently and have received excellent feedback.

Had and old router, was not getting full download speeds and spotty coverage in certain parts of the apartment. After upgrading to this, my coverage is excellent and I get full download speeds.

Works well. Nothing incredibly special, and doesn't have any crazy features, but works well as a basic router and haven't had any issues.

My old router was dying and needed a new one. After talking to several friends I decided on this one. Good price and features everything I needed. Would recommend as a medium price range router.

Setup was quick and straight forward. If wanting to use some of the limited advanced configurations, then not as clear but works. For basic setup, a decent consumer router.
