    Netgear is my preferred networking hardware because it is simple and consistent. Out of the box to set up and transmitting within minutes.

    I bought this for my in-laws and decided to set it up for them. I am pretty good with technology and so it shouldn't take long. As will every router I have set up over the years, this router tries to "simplify" the setup with automation that, in my experience almost always fails when the router goes to update firmware. I bypassed the setup and had the router running in 15 minutes with multiple connections and guess networks. I just wish the companies providing the software would have an easier way to skip the automated setup.
