There are actually two bands (two wireless connections) which was different than what we'd used before. One is 2.4GHz and the other is 5.0GHz. The 2.4GHz frequency seems to reach further into the back of our home. The 5.0GHz is the one that allows us to utilize the full speed available to us from our ISP. I'd give it a 5 star if both frequencies reached the same distance.
