    I am not one to take computers apart to insert cards, items, etc. Bought this for a desktop computer, as did not think about not having a hook up for wired internet when I got the desk top computer for a new location in the house. this worked perfect, plug it in and it worked, If I can figure it out, any one can.

    Slight adjustments of the antenna arm got all the bars to light up. Had Asus 1900 wireless adapter and was only getting 75-90 MPS of 150MPS speed that at my cable router one room away After installing this adapter it's steadily over 100 now. Also plugged into USB 3 now. Don't know if what the effect of that is.

    I recently upgraded my home Wi-Fi Router, but wasn't getting the better speeds on my laptop due to an older built-in Wi-Fi technology. The NETGEAR AC-1200 allowed me to take advantage of the improved speeds. I'm also getting better speeds while sitting in Starbucks. Definitely better than buying a new laptop.

    -Easy to setup -Has a nice dock so that it can sit on the desk, and not crammed next to other component noise in the back of the computer, for better signal. -Can connect to 5 Hz networks for less disruption from the overused 2.4 Hz Frequency

    After centrally locating my router, I needed a way to wirelessly connect to my Desktop PC in another room. I had no available card slots so a wireless network card was not an option.     This product has no trouble picking up the wifi signal in my home and it reliably works every time. Just a nice basic little adapter with no bells and whistles which is what I needed. I'm going to build a new computer in a few months and I needed something that uses the USB 3.0 standard that everyone will be using soon - a bit of future proofing.
