If you have spectrum internet and want to use the 5g instead of the 2g from your WiFi, this is the perfect product. Simple to install worth easy instructions.

It comes with a dock, but there were connection problems with mine whenever I tried to use it, so I had to plug the wireless adapter directly into my laptop. note that if you plug into a laptop, it will cover up the ports next to it and wont let you plug anything in beside it. Connecting to Wifi is pretty easy, you can do the "button on the router" thing which speeds up the connection process. Connection is great while watching videos online. I am able to watch YouTube videos at 1080p without any lag. The video will start right at 1080p, none of that nonsense where it starts at 240p and works its way up to 1080. However, Gaming online wasn't good. When Playing Battlefield One, my Ping was constantly in the hundreds. It wasn't much better for Overwatch, with other players stuttering all over my screen, and me getting killed without realizing what just happened. So basically, this is great for Online Media Consumption, but not good for gaming.

Before we bought this we had wires from my son’s bedroom to the house router taped to the floor. Solved the problem beautifully!!!

This item does exactly what it says it does. Not once have I had any lag or connection problems throughout the entire time I've had it - going on two years straight now.

This device is great for making older computers recognize 5ghz radio signal from dual band routers. Bumped my speed from 12 mgb down to 98 mgb down for wireless signal.

Excellent if you have a wireless n apadter in your laptop/desktop. This was purchased because our laptop does not have a dual band wifi card. With this i now get 5ghz AC wifi.

Mother board component failed during a time when online access was necessary. Best Buy was on the way home, plug and play worked like a charm.

Netgear always produces a solid product. I had no problem connecting it paired great with my Netgear wireless router. I used it in my Machine Shop and Range was no issue
