Customers frequently mention the ease of use, strong WiFi performance, and reliable signal strength as significant advantages. Many appreciate the adapter's good range and relatively easy installation process. While some users noted the small size of the adapter, others reported occasional software issues. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs the negative comments.

I have used Netgear products in the past and have not been disappointed. The USB AC1200 does a better job of receiving signals then my laptops built in WiFi adapter. 10db gain over internal WiFi adapter may not seem like much but I am happy.

The upgrade to these adapters is a must if you want the greatest connection speed out of your Netgear Router. The installation was easy and went off without a hitch. I would recommend to anyone looking to enhance their home networking experience.

I purchased this item hoping to get the most use out of the internet speed I pay for, 105mbps. Was only achieving 24mbps with my wireless desktop. After installing this USB adapter I'm repeatedly showing 130mbps from my computer. Well worth it!

My laptop internal wireless card died and the helpful staff took me thru external options that connect via USB. Lots of choices at competitive prices. Went with netgear a6210. Much better performance than the original intel card inside my laptop.

Went from 3.5MB downloads to over 9MB it's insane. No longer do you have to use a Ethernet to get amazing speeds. I also upgraded my router at the same time, well worth the upgrade.

Plug and play, so easy to set up. The 5ghz band seems to have the better speed and range. Works great on my kids desktop for online gaming.

I purchased this wireless network adapter because I have a computer that does not have a wireless networking card built in. I plugged it in and it allows me to connect to a network wirelessly. If you have some special requirements or expectations from a wireless network adapter, check the specifications. But if you just need an adapter to plug into a windows 10 machine and connect to a wireless router in the next room, I can tell you this one will do that.

Was having speed issues connecting to an old and new Netgear Nighthawk(1700 & 2300). Finally decided to upgrade my wireless adapter and instantly got the results I've been expecting and missing for the past few months. So glad I made this purchase.

This thing is awesome. I can log onto the internet without it, but once I plug it in, even if I am already on the internet you can visually see a significant increase in speed. Downloads are faster, searches are very fast. I have a lot of items connected to the internet and this little beauty boosts my service significantly. It allows other items in the house to work fast instead of creating a lag time for them too. I couldn't ask for better results. Easy to install, very portable and boosted speed what more could I ask for.

Netgear makes excellent network adapters, and the AC1200 Wireless-AC High-Gain Wi-Fi USB 3.0 Adapter is no exception. A solid performer that allows maximum transfer of wi-fi signals from any router to a connected laptop or desktop...

My Wi-Fi chip on my laptop is horrible, so I purchased this one to make up for the on-board. I had an older version of this adapter and it worked great but the plastic on it broke and it stopped working due to damage. This one however is USB 3.0 and works great. I use the docking station that came with it and it works great as well. The range on it is also good. I am just in a 2 bed room apartment so it works great everywhere. I am not sure how this would work in a house but mine stays at full bars for signal (2 & 5).

I chose to get this unit for my mini tower rather than the USB stick-only competitor product (which I have on a laptop), because I wanted the flexibility of placement for the best signal. This is located in the top floor, farthest corner of my house, and I do also use a separate wall plug-in signal booster/amplifier. The Netgear with high-gain antenna was super easy to install, works great, no problems after 2 months of use. Signal speeds have been much better than with the tower's built-in wifi antenna.

Have been using this for almost a month now and it works perfectly. Installed without any trouble, runs cool. And since it is faster than my cable internet connection it keeps my download and upload speeds at the maximum attainable by my connection.
I'm using this on a new computer I built. Ryzen 7 2700X with 16GB of ram, Windows 10. I bought this model because I wanted the USB with the cable extension on it, and I didn't want to put a wifi card in the computer.

Don't hesitate on buying this. Money well spent. First off my house is 1900 sq ft, and I don't drop a signal at all and my computer is on the second floor. Best of all I get full speeds just like I would as if I was directly plugged into my modem.
