The range wasn't that great so I had to return it for something with a bit more reach on the signal but if you're close enough to the router /modem this will satisfy your needs

This item was purchased for a clients desktop computer that did not have a internal wireless network card. This unit from netgear is usb 3.0 compliant. This unit worked well in the home it is being use in. Tip: buy a wireless usb for the network generation you are using. I will save yourself some money.

what a boost from my wireless N setup, just wish Best Buy would have carried the newest higher speed adapter for the AC network

This does an incredible job as a wireless adapter. The only note I would give is to be aware of the orientation of the antenna. it may get in the way if you want to plug it directly into your tower or laptop. However a great usb 3.0 extension dock is included. Would definitely recommend it.

This product is powerful and allowed me to NOT have to install CAT6 to my sons room for his new computer. One thing, I did not give it 5 stars due to it not working very well when plugged into the USB port on the back of the desktop; had to use the USB cable extension. May work fine in a lap top but the PC may just have too much interference.... It also does not install well in windows 10... you have to download the newest drivers and jump through some hoops to get it to install properly.

Good Wi-Fi adapter for accessing the internet on a computer that does not have a built in Wi-Fi card installed.

As weird as it is, my gf's PC actually came wireless, but since Windows 10 can't get their stuff together, it somehow removed the card driver and became obsolete. That's where this bad boy comes in. It was practically plug-n-play!! It works great, and reaches the signal pretty far from the router.

Better signal than a build in. We greatly recommend this product to anyone who want to get a great wireless signal.

Purchased this when I bought my new Dell ( the internal wifi card was terrible). This picks up signals great.

I needed to buy another ASAP, because the one I had stopped working, and I am working from home. I picked this up with in the hour, and connected it, and I love it! It's super easy to connect, I have found no lag, and no drops at all!!!

Increased my internet speed to a gigabit but my older computer couldn't handle the speed. I didn't want or need to invest in a new computer so I determined I could use this adapter. Worked straight out the box and with my computer's usb 3.0 my internet speeds are very fast. So far so good.
