I bought this to correct issues with my tower PC not being able to receive adequate WiFi loading speeds for even basic webpages. While it did boost the signal and speed a little, it was hardly enough to make it different from the $20 WiFi adapter I already had from ASUS from a couple years ago. A bummer, because this was very well-designed and has a nice base you can use to make it stand upright for an optimal signal. Maybe I got a defective unit? Who knows, after the fuss I just bought a superlong Ethernet cord and went that route.

I have my gaming computer set up in another room ..pretty far from the router..I would always prefer to use wire connection to game with..a very good product. .games just as well with this device. .

Replaced an N adapter with this one and immediately noticed faster speeds, even on an N router. Very easy to set up snd connect. Using with my AirPort Extreme.

Works really well. The range is great and we are getting great speed. You should definetly make this purchase :-) I love the style too, it looks great in combination with my computer set up.

Solid connection with very few drops. Easy install. I was wary as I usually build my pc's with a dedicated card but this was for a tiny media PC with little room inside for any cards and it works fantastic.

This adapter has helped me add wifi capabilities to a few desktop computers. Installation was straight-forward and easy, and the connection is great.

This WiFi adapter works perfectly in the home we are renting. Wife's computer is upstairs and router is downstairs across the house. Connection is reliable and strong.

Excellent AC1200 performance and no connection drops so far after 3 weeks. I don't like netgear for routers, but both netgear usb wifis are well designed and work like champs

Don't settle with your old Wifi, buy this with the new ac router to get the max out of this routers. My pings use to be terrible over wifi but now it gets as low as 14 which is awesome if you know what am talking about. Download speed is the max now am getting.

i connected to 3 different computer desktops running different OS. windows xp, windows 7 and windows 10. all performed well maximum range of 100 ft between rooms with minimum of 2 partition walls.

Did require the setup disk to connect to Windows 10 (which surprised me) but that load went smoothly. Stays connected. The foldout format hasn't made the pets too excited thus far.
