If you have a decent cable speed, this was virtually 'plug and play'. And works very well from completely across the home , in the basement , from the wireless router.

Range and boost you looking for in this product. I trust cable but after I met this product, no more cable. It supports various of speed. Totally recommend this product.

I had just brought a gaming computer that did not have wireless built in. I had also purchased a brand new router that supported the AC standard. I decided to purchase this Usb 3.0 wireless adapter that was also dual band. I have had it now for 4 weeks and I am very happy with the speed and reliability. I maintain speeds of 867mps for the majority of times. I do slot of online gaming and have not had any issues as well. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive solution plus it's just fast. I also like that is has a very long cable which gives you more options for placement. Well worth it!

Really helped my sister in a bind when the WiFi card went out in her desktop. Signal is great! Everything is easy to install.

This item is amazing. Great connection and easy to install. A CD comes with it for installation but you don't need it. Just plug it and go and you're good to go.

Solid performer for usb versus dedicated pci express card or m.2 card. The length of the usb cable is a wee bit short reducing placement options. But beyond that this usb ac wifi offers solid speeds with an adjustable wifi antenna. Not to mention I can connect it to my laptop without issue. My wifi is on my development gaming pc and I still keep under 60 ms easy sometimes 40 to 50 ms pings consistentlyrics. I'm hoping to get a repeater soon or just adjust the placement of my router a bit to reduce the latency as I use a nighthawk 7000 ac which already has blazing speeds. :). Either way u can't go wrong with this wifi usb.

I don't love it and here is why. It's REALLY good in a lot of ways BUT I have the same issues that a lot of other users have...initial connectivity when first starting the computer is wonky a lot of the time. It connects, then drops, then connects, then drops. This will repeat for several minutes...and then be rock-stable all day. I've used it on three computers (two new, one old) and had the same issues on all. I've gone through many forums and sites looking for causes/solutions and found nothing that actually works (for me). Haven't been able to accurately test whether or not it is a software or hardware issue, but at this point it doesn't really matter. It is more of an annoyance, than a deal-breaker. The connectivity speed once the handshake with the source-signal actually holds is very good. It does a very good job working in and around clutter between the source signal and the computer (I tested direct line of site and through multiple rooms, with many random objects in the way). Overall, it's quite good but as they say, your mileage may vary.

This was easy to install and works great. I used it to make my daughter desktop have internet without having to run a cord. She is able to watch movies with no lag.

Was looking for a new WiFi adapter for my wife's computer. This does work better than the built in WiFi card, but have no other experience with an external to compare it too. But it does what it is meant to do and does it well.

Works great. Only thing I find but not a big problem is.. I have it in my computer desk that has a door. Because it is Wi-Fi if I have my door to the cabinet closed it doesn't work well because signal is blocked by the door. As long as I keep door open it works great!
