The campground where I stay has WiFi. Unfortunately the signal is a little weak. I had a Netgear N300 Wireless USB Adapter and upgraded to the AC1200 Wireless Adapter. My download speed has improved.

Plugged into my computer and worked great with good connection and speed. Very happy with purchase.

Setup was easy just load the disk, plug in the adapter and set your wifi password. Great speed no lag time.

Old N wireless started failing. Netgear AC1200 brought my Sony laptop back to life.

It works awesome but the problem was it kept kicking my son off wifi something to do with the cord. The problem was I had geek squad hook it up so when I went to return I had to print off the receipt and I didnt realize it had a cd with it (not a big computer geek so I didnt know anything about the cd). Drive 30 miles to tell me I couldn't return without the cd so had to buy a new one and still need to bring it back again. Works great but the cord issue.

This is a trusted brand name in our house; we have the Cox NetGear46 cable modem/router to go with it. This was easy to install and worked as expected right out of the box. Be sure to install the most recent drivers first... Stay away from the Linksys adapter- it never worked for more than 10 minutes for us !

While this item has decent reviews from various sites, I tried installing it out of the box and had issues, mostly with the accompanying software. It just wouldn't install on my system properly. When I tired a workaround, my internet access constantly dropped connection. Plus, it began interfering with my wireless mouse and keyboard. Returned the next day and went back to an Ethernet connection.

Works well in my home. Computer is much quicker and works from a long distance.
