I am using this on my old desktop across the house (1969) thru a wall with no problem. My desktop is older and has USB 2 which isn't as fast as usb3 but with connection to a ac 1800 router it is great. I have EPB Fiber. Adaptor never has dropped connection once. Again speed is maximized with a good AC band router and USB 3 but even on my USB 2 it's still awesome. Just ran Seedpeedtest.net. Got 110 Mbps download and 105 upload on my windows 7 USB 2 PC.

I recently moved and no longer had a way to connect my PC to the router via a Cat5 cable. I was unsure about using a WiFi adapter because of latency or connectivity issues while streaming movies, audio, or playing video games. After reviewing the product online I decided to try it out and see what kind of performance I got out of it. Fully expecting that I might have to return it. Within the first day I knew I was going to keep the WiFi adapter. It been incredible and performed perfectly. I have not have any issues streaming multiple videos, songs, VoIP, and MMO style video games at the same time without any noticeable lag or latency issues.

I had an old netgear adapter I replaced with this one. This one is definitely way better. The range and speed is awesome on it and I don't have random cut outs like I did with the last one. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the cable it came with was no good right out of the box so I hax really bad connection issues. Also I cant even install the correct software to my pc because it won't detect the adapter. But it works with my old software so all is well.

I don't use wifi all that often on my desktop, but I needed this when my desk setup was re-homed in the house where I did not have ethernet pulled yet. The product worked great with no issue and I would reccomend this adapter for anyone who needs to depend on wifi.

For my time using the NETGEAR - AC1200 I have had a stable connection with my internet and having more a much larger amount of range than my previous network adapters. The UI is not to bad takes about 10 seconds for it to read all available network points in the area. The reason I did not give this product a five star rating is due to the fact that I was given a disk that made my optical reader go haywire (I actually had to do a manual reset on my PC), luckily I had my old network adapter hooked up so I was just able to download the driver from online, I love the product but many people have had the problem with the disk not reading properly and so I feel like anyone thinking about getting this product should know this in advance.

Purchased this to update my wireless network speed. Easy to install and speeds are great. I have no issue streaming anything with my PC. Product worked great with my new router as well.

Was having issues with my old adapter after updating to windows ten. Installation of drivers went smoothly and saw an immediate speed boost with this and my AC router. Highly recommend.

This item was very easy to set up and works like it should. I am content with the speed of the device. I can't tell a difference between my labtop with the network card or my desktop with this device.

Easy to install and works well. So far no difference from a hardline. Had an issues with the software recognizing the device. But just use windows device manager.

If you have a need for this product, this is the one! Very easy setup! It's almost too easy to believe. It has a very long range. The last product has and will be a Netgear product!

I bought and installed a dual band wi-fi card in to my wife's Lenovo laptop. They don't mention in the ad what speed and band wi-fi card is installed. So, I boot the laptop and get the message " Unauthorized Wi-Fi Card installed. Please remove this device..." Googling the Lenovo, it has a "white list" of "Appoved Wi-Fi Cards." There was one you could buy from Lenovo but had been discontinued. It was more than double for what I paid for an Intel dual Band AC card. So this Netgear adapter was the only way I could get my wife dual Band AC speeds instead of n-150. It is very touchy and you need to be careful or it breaks easily. This is my third one.

I purchased this to make an old computer wi fi ready. It was easy to bring on line and the connection is great. Great gadget to breathe life into Old computer.

I got the computer from my father, found out he did not get a network card in it. With the help of a Best Buy associate I was directed to the net great. Works great. Software installation is a little tricky, as I choose English for the language, some of the installation was in a foreign language. Thankfully I have installed a lot of software in the past. When it came to the areas where I had to click on responses, I clicked on the buttons I would have if it were in English, which allowed me to install the software. Great product, when i boot up the computer, wifi logs into Internet as quickly as if I had the network card in it.

Bought for my office PC, where I was getting patchy wifi when testing with my phone, this device gives me a solid 20MB/s (megabytes, not bits) without any issue. Thumbs up.

I was looking for a high-performance USB Network Adapter (assumed 3.0), which would take advantage of the new 802.11ac Wireless Router at my house. Worked well and was easy to set up.

This dongle is great and offers great speeds. easy setup and works great. However, it does have an issue finding your PC put a quick disconnect and reconnect and everything works great!

Setup was easy and the connection was great!. My router in on the 2nd floor in a cabinet and I have my pc in the basement. I still get 4 out of 5 bars signal strength.

This Netgear WiFi extender is the easiest and most efficient adapter that I have tried. Just plug it into your USP port and you will get very good internet speeds.

I increased my internet speed and had to buy a new router. My old adapter coudn't handle the speed. This one works great and was easy to install.
