I purchased this NETGEAR - AC1200 Wireless-AC High-Gain Wi-Fi USB 3.0 Adapter, when I needed a wireless connection for a refurbished computer I purchased for my son. This item has been working great with no problems since I purchased it a few months ago and it was REALLY EASY to set up for a non geek like me. I would buy another one of these if I need a wireless connection for another computer in the future.

This device was so easy to install and works wonderfully and allows me to move my tower anywhere.

Bought this for my church for the computer that is in the children's church room. Previous laptop that was being used in there had a hard time connecting to the wifi. The computer in there now is an older desktop without a wireless card, and this adapter enables it to keep a solid, strong, consistent connection to the wifi.

All I had to do was unpackage the box and bam. I was connected to the internet. My desktop didn't have wireless built in so this was the perfect solution. Really, really, easy setup. Less than 3 minutes. For an average tech savvy person. For not tech savvy people it would probably take less than 5 minutes to get it hooked up. AC tech is so much better then the N generation. So much faster and much more efficient.

Replaced an old 2.0 USB adapter, when we updated the router to an AC router. Works fantastic.

I had a small cheap wifi adapter in the past. This one has great range and fast internet speeds.

My computer got hit by lightning and affected my ethernet protal. I was told the motherboard would need to be replaced. It was a much less expensive fix. The only problem I have found is when I come home from travel. I shut all electronics down when on trave and once I bring the computer back up the converter is not automatically connecting my PC to the internet. This could be user error. Maybe I should have clicked some box for it to automatically reconnect.

After setting up a new wifi router in the house, I realized I had the old technology in the adapter. I researched and bought this model. It was very easy to install and set up. Additionally, this item has made a marked improvement when using our desktop and (along with the new wifi router) has virtually eliminated our internet frustrations!

I use it constantly. Very easy to set up, and gives fast speed. Definitely would recommend.

This was a challenging install using the supplied software. It didn't work. After reading some unline user group links I found that this a common issue that Netgear shoud address but hasn't. Followed some simple procedures spelled out in the user group and BINGO this thing works like a dream. Took less than 5 min once I found the correct procedure. Shame on Netgear for not addressing! Now that it's working it seems rock solid with no issues.
