The description is a little misleading so I bought this thinking it can detect a signal. However I was unaware that I needed access to my router which I can’t access. I’m sure the product works but it should be more clear

Real good speeds no droop outs, very easy to set up and easy to use

I haven't had trouble with connection or slow speeds since I bought this adapter.

Bought this adapter for the pc I had built realizing I didnt install any kind of hardware that allowed connectivity, and this has given me no problems. No disk set up is required as far as Im concerned, the adapter immediately enabled my WIFI capabilities and has great reception/speed for what it is. Definitely worth my money.

Easy installation. Fast speed. USB adapter cable should've been a little longer.

.I had a PCI wifi card installed, 2.4GHz only, my PC is across the house and on another floor from the router and was having difficulty maintaining connections. I installed this device, connected to the wifi at 5GHz, and have had not only no problems staying connected, but the computer is noticeably much faster, even with three computers connected at 5GHz and two at 2.4GHz. I'm very happy.

Was having issues with signal and speed. This thing took care of it. Works great.

Always was skeptical when it comes to wifi USB plugs that supposedly give a good connection and have a long reach. Netgear did it! The connection is stable enough, had been using it with hotspoting from my phone which was all over the apartment. The reach was so good that my phone was in detached garage and it worked flawlessly for streaming music on pandora. Verily pleased with the product.

Purchased the first one for my desktop computer. I had moved my office and in the new location I did not have access for internet unless I went with wifi. Had a really good AC router and decided to go with this unit because it was AC also. Worked like a champ so I bought a second for my old lap top to upgrade it to AC. No problems with either set up and super fast with the AC connecting at 5 GHZ

Works great with no problems and it's pretty far from the modem. It gets the job done!

Like most of these types of devices, setting up was easy, but the range was amazingly good.

I've used Netgear products for years and never been disappointed. I have a huge house...almost 3300 sq ft...and my grandson's room was at the far end of the house, so he needed a little more oomph to use wi-fi. I didn't have to worry. I knew a quick trip to Best buy for a Netgear adapter would do the job and I was right. It's great to always be able to count on Netgear and Best buy.

It works great and I don't experience any type of lag. Also great amount of range.

As recommended by best buy associate, this product solved my problem with my wireless network being fast and reaching the whole house. My family doesn't yell at me anymore!

I needed to connect my computer to my wi-fi so I purchased this product. Surprisingly it did really great. No buffering or any disconnects . No complaints from me.

I would but this again.it was easy to set up and increased speed of the internet.
