Used this item to connect my older laptop to my new AC router. Virtually sets itself up and started working right away. I have 300 Mbps internet speed, and with this adapter, I can get WIFI speeds over 300 Mbps through my AC1750 router. Works almost throughout the house, with only a few trouble spots. Would definitely recommend this to pair with a fast router.

I needed wi-fi for my gaming computer which didn't have it. I read the reviews and found that it did work with windows 10. I plugged it in my usb3 socket and was set up in less than 15 minutes. I did not notice any lag in my games and have had no problems since the install. netgear genie worked as promised and walked me through everything.

I have been using two of these wireless adapters for about 3 years. Over these 3 years they have kept up well. Anytime I came across Wireless internet problems it always ended up being a problem with the Mother board or a system bug of some sort. **** I highly recommend these Adapters **** USER TIPS: Make sure you are not crowding the adapter. Ensure you are connected to a USB port that is at least 3.0. Using Windows 10? Ensure you completely update your Chipsets.

Got this along with the netgeat nighthawk wireless router. This upgrade was well worth it, my speeds and range trippled on most of my newer devices.

Easy to set up. Provided great throughput (as shown by speedtest.net). More stable speed than my old dual adapter.

You won't get the highest data transfer rate unless your modem is the highest quality. For instance, if you have Verizon and they give you a single band rather than a duel band modem. Your transfer rate will be like mine at 1.44 mbits per second. That was more than I expected, but far less than maximum. So check the incoming rate prior to purchase. Other than that you won't need a repeater, because I'm in a Condo and can get Netflix in a bedroom that is at least 50 feet away on a Samsung Smart TV with a decent (3/4 max) signal.

I needed an emergency USB ethernet adapter and I needed high speed and the NETGEAR - AC1200 didn't disappoint. Connected to the network, got a nice 450Mbs and got to work. Easy to set up, easy to connect to a wireless network and best of all solid performance with no drops. What more could you ask for in a wireless adapter?
