clear instructions, followed step by step, and working with Xfinity wireless router made the successful installation a pleasure. the connection process each time the computer is started takes a few seconds; and then it is just like a solid cable connection as far a function. this is a PC by USB arrangement through a 6 position hub.

This was purchased to give a better signal over a previous G Network. The next day I returned to buy a matching router. It's odd that this was the fastest usb ac wifi adapter, while the router options are even faster. The adapter was easy to install, although I dislike how net gear puts software on the system. Surely win 10 Manager is fine.

So first off I want to say this is not the first one I bought. I bought one about two years back when my old WiFi dongle just was not cutting it. So I go to Best Buy and check out a few options. At the time it was $75-90, I can't remember exactly. Stood out enough for me to dish out that much to replace a $20 dongle. I ended up picking up this newer one for around $50. Anyway I ended up having to get a new one because my cat chewed through the wire. Originally I'd say you're paying for quality at the $75-90 price point, but now at the new price you're getting a quality device at 1/2 price almost. My favorite feature is really the ability to plug via USB 3 wire dock to my PC or use a back USB 3.0 and connect directly. The obvious perk to that is you can get a better signal if you can pop it out from under your desk. Speed is great too, I believe it's rated 1 GB/s if you're lucky enough to actually get that high. So unless you live in Kansas City using Google Fiber I'd say it's been a future proof device and will remain to prove so for a couple more years.

I built my computer and needed a good adapter for wifi. I got a good deal and I definitely don't regret it. Works fabulous!

Built a new rig but didn't want to occupy a pci slot with an AC wifi card, this seemed like a legit idea so I made the leap and purchased it. What a great idea, on my network I'm getting about 95+ mpbs with a ping of about 2-4ms, if you need a more reliable connection for gaming, stream, and/or transferring large files to and from the cloud, look no further this thing has your back!

Great device, fast and easy install with a strong signal with high speed. Get the right hook up and try this yourself!

I work for a company thats slowly converting from wired to wireless (aka wifi) internet access. The Netgear AC1200 proved to be a simple and helpful tool that bridged the gap between my company's new fully loaded desktop computers and the older ones that half the staff prefers to work on. I recommend it for those that need to make the leap to wireless connectivity but dont feel they are ready to go out and buy a whole new computer to do so.

Purchased the adapter to replace an older one and it was easy to set up and provide a great connection to my router.

Wasn't able to run a direct hard line in our new home. This adapter was just what we needed. Simple to set up and great performance!

This unit is FAST and easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone needing to have an external connection to wireless.

My home office is in a bldg next to my house. The distance between router and PC is about 80 feet (through walls and doors). I was very surprised not only to run at about 150 Mb DL and 10 Mb UL but the connection stayed very constant (little dropouts) on a 5G connection at that distance. It comes with a nice desktop dock which adds to the distance it serves which is particularly helpful if your desktop PC is located inside a desk cabinet as mine is located.

Easy to install. Fastest internet access - you would think it came with the computer. Will never buy Linksys again.

Has good range, keeps solid connection for most of the time. Only had occasional connection issues. Very easy to setup.

This product is really amazing, I'm 50' from the router and I got all bars. The installation was really easy.

My WiFi modem failed on my laptop requiring my looking for alternatives. A computer magazine recommended purchasing a USB device rather than replace the modem, so the trip to Bestbuy. I purchased the mid range device because it had features and functions I wanted. When I got home and plugged it in, my WiFi immediately started working. There were no drivers to install or additional software required and it tuned itself to my computer Easy to use.

Very easy to setup and with USB 3.0 and 5 GHz band it can connect to, it makes your connection very fast.
