Replaced an antenna on a tower desktop. Worked good on the system. The computer crashed after a windows update so I can't tell the longevity of the unit or how it works on a heavy download. The crash was not related to the wifi antenna.

I bought this card when the Wi-Fi adaptor in my laptop suddenly lost its effective range so that it would only work if I sat in the same room as the wireless modem. I was worried that repairing or replacing the Wi-Fi adaptor would be an expensive affair and the computer is working fine in every other respect so I didn't want to buy a new one. I was relieved to find that external adaptors were quite affordable, and not only that they were small enough to fit in my pocket. I've been using it for a few months now and haven't had any issues.

Why did I wait this long to buy this? Installing the NETGEAR AC1200 made my internet connection super fast. With the amount of time I spend on the internet, this was definitely worth the purchase. I highly recommend it.

With my old internal card i will get about half or less of my full internet speed on the second floor. With this usb adapter im able to achieve my full internet speeds and so far it has not drop connection during the time im using it.

My daughters computer couldnt connect to the internet and this thing has been a lifesaver. Boosts the signal and she is surfing and happy again. She can connect anywhere in the house. Good price too.

I installed this on an older Dell 755 in about five minutes and it works great with my Netgear R6400 A/C Nighthawk router. My ancient wired PC now gets full wireless bandwidth (150mbps) in any room. Great product!

I purchased several of these for use in a small conference area. There are two walls between the computer and the router. These adapters have worked great; very stable and absolutely no connectivity issues. They are worth the price paid.

Wow! So, I have a laptop in my office somewhat distant from wireless modem. I put this monster in and now the connection stable and MUCH faster. No-brainer if you want your distant wifi device to have a rocking connection.

I bought this for my son since we moved and his room is in the back of the house .. It's as good as wired connections the other computer has without the wires all through the halls . I am actually considering getting one for myself now

The first one I purchased for a relative. He wanted his PC placed in a room with no connection. This adapter far exceeded our expectations. So I purchased 2 more for my wife and kids. It works great with our WRT3200 Linksys router.

Works very well, No problems, Easy to plug in, No internet going on and off, Works well in any part of our 2-story home

Strong performance as indicated by the AC1200 claims. However, the extension USB dock and cable cause random hiccups if you intend to have it standing on a desk for better signal. Try to use by plugging in directly, if possible.

My sin has been using this for online gaming with no problems.
