This wifi adapter is one of the best for $50. I just built a computer and didn't know motherboards need antennas for wifi. I thought all motherboards in the market have built-in wifi. So I bought this and it's like having built-in wifi but better. The connection to my router is very good. I play games with it, and my ping never goes up while playing. It's basically like having an Ethernet cord connected to my PC.

Works well, blazingly fast, but did not work until you install the drivers from the CD or online. This is a problem for someone like me who does not have an optical drive, and obviously you're buying this so that you can connect to the internet. That aside, it has incredible reach and I seem to have found numerous Wi-Fi systems from my neighbors that I had never seen before.

This is a great little adapter and comes with almost no issues. Pros: Easy to set up out of the box, works well with just about any pc you connect to. Veary streamlined for looks, and well packaged. Cons: the extension USB adapter cord is all but useles for any tower because it is to short. The software is lacking in functionality and capabilities. Overall still worth the purchase and I would still recommend this device to anyone.

I'm very pleased with this wifi adapter. It was really easy to setup and I haven't lost signal at all yet.

Using the Dual Band 5G on my router my Internet speeds went from an average of 15-20 Mbps to 75-100 Mbps using this Netgear USB dongle. At first I had some connectivity issues but then I downloaded the latest firmware drivers and after that I got a solid super fast wifi internet connection. I have been using this over 1 year now and I am pretty sure it is still one of the very best wi-fi adapters on the market right now.

As someone who has been a Mac user for over 10 years I have never had to worry about internet connection. Recently I purchased a PC and was annoyed to find that there was no wi-fi compatibility. This adapter solved that problem. Though it takes a few steps to install, once its up and running it runs great. It was able to reach my router which was located two floors above where I had the computer. I would def recommend.

This Wi-Fi adapter is easy to set up. Good range and speed. Only negative is the USB line should be longer.

Purchased to this adapter after I upgraded my home PC to Windows 10. Previous adapter was not compatible with Windows 10. Installation was easy, and performance has been very good. Only downside is the size of the adapter, but its large size probably improves reception.

This Netgear wireless adapter works fabulous. I previously had an uplink wireless adapter that was slow and ended up dying within 3 months. This adapter greatly increased the internet speed for my PC which was important because I play lots of games and my computer is not hooked into the router. I have found no cons so far and I have owned and used this device for several months. 10/10 would buy again/recommend to a friend.

I have been having this product for about a month now and it has great range and awesome speed. My speeds are as if I was hard wired. Great product as I said so far. I have read other reviews and I am blessed I do not have there problems. It perform as advertised. I am only using it on USB 2.0 . I can not wait to use it on USB 3.0

I recently moved to Olympia Washington and had new Internet service installed in my home. Unfortunately the modem/router was not able to go into my home office. I need two computers to have wifi access. Best Buy recommended the NETGEAR AC1200. I am not Tech savvy but managed to do it myself as no one was making house-calls (COVID 19). I just followed the instructions that came with the product and got online right away. My signals are strong and haven't failed yet. I did buy one for each of the two computers and there is no interference. Also did the Store Curbside Pickup.

It runs at pretty fast speeds, when it's in the open, not too close to any other electronics. exceeded my expectations, especially with the the docking station that allows you to put it off to the side. Only con to me is that it seems like with my computer every time I try to connect I have to use the program it provides manually each time, about 75% of the time, it only sometimes connects automatically.

easy to install and update. cleared up many issues that system had with other adapters.

Works as advertised. It definitely extends your range and gives great speeds. With a normal adapter I was getting two bars and 27 mbps. With this adapter I'm getting 4 bars and right around the 300 Mbps advertised. The only strike against it is it seems to work a lot better when you manage it using the genie rather than the regular windows management

Quick setup for Win 7 or 10; decent range for an antenna of its size and power. Synced up with my existing wireless network, and with a 10 Mps source I'm getting consistent 8.5-8.9 downspeed, so I am sufficiently satisfied with its performance.
