Computer ran slow and I thought it was the computer. Once I pluggged it in the computer ran so much faster. Saved me from buying a new computer.

This adapter has worked flawlessly for 3 months now! Fast connection for wifi and was very easy to set up. Turned my pc into a wifi capable unit and cut the cords.

I bought the NETGEAR WiFi Adapter when my laptop's internal card failed. The adapter worked flawlessly out of the box, no driver or other installation was required.

So this Card is good, and will get high speed Wi-Fi like (100MBPS+). But the software CD that comes with it is buggy. When the installer prompts you to "insert the network card," the software can't find it, but the computer will recognize it! I tried this 3 different cards with 3 different computers and they all had the same error. It won't find the card with the software, but since the PC recognizes it, it works. And the software acts buggy when "checking for updates," and never finds them while connected to Wifi, like it should. Other than that, it works well.

I was able to setup a wifi Extender in a work office and then use this wifi USB adapter to get a computer on the network from a far distance. Happy to not have to run a long cable in the ceiling :-> !

works as intended. easily installed. if you don't have a disk drive you will need to download from the web.

My desktop has only 2.4GHz wifi adapter onboard. I bought this adapter to use the 5GHz channel of my Netgear dual band router.I followed instruction on manual, the driver was installed, but no luck with the program to utilize the hardware. issue 1) netgear program won't start after installation issue 2) netgear program slows down PC.(could not shutdown/reboot) my advice: DO NOT INSTALL SOFTWARE COMES IN PACKAGE NOR TRY TO DOWNLOAD FROM NETGEAR.COM! just plug into USB port to let computer install driver, then connect to desired connections (2.4 GHz or 5GHz)

I was trying to set up wifi with a 6 year old wifi adaptor and getting very poor signal strength. bought this set it up and all is well. Easy setup and great results

Wasn’t very good sadly, I had to get a more expensive one because I was never getting good signal

Hooked this up to my son's PC and so far it's working fast and efficiently. Easy setup. We will likely get another for our daughter's PC.

I already have one of these and purchased one for my parents computer. They work great, there is a newer model out there, but for the internet in my area, this works as well as it does.

Not a huge fan of the bundled Netgear software to manage the adapter as it's redundant and just complicates things. Upside is that it was easy enough to install the driver without the management software.

I ordered this because my new computer did not have a wireless card. The router and modem are in the office several rooms away and the antenna pics up the signal well enough for my needs.

It's a great product. It was recommended to me by a coworker and wasn't sure how complicated it would be but when I got the product it was super easy to setup and use.

It took a little extra configuration but I'm blaming that on Windows and my network. I'm getting fantastic speeds on the two computers in my house that use these.

My desktop was unable to run at anywhere near the cable company's 200 mb. I found out it was my wireless old tech. hardware. This was plug and play. Too Good to be true.
