This replaced an older NETGEAR router and a separate modem. This combo unit works great! Ryan from the Geek Squad got it working then made sure that all our wifi stuff was functional. Thermostat, Ring doorbell and spotlight, laptop, iPad, printer, and phones. He was the man!

Gets the job done. Definitely 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz, it's slick and slim, however it's just a cheap protective case. That just means that there's no real weight to the modem itself so it can easily topple or be knocked over weighs about a 1lb. The Netgear app helps setup real easy so make sure to download this app if you require assistance. Signal works great two bedrooms away, and speed will depend on your ISP

What can I say but an excellent purchase. Does what's advertised and that's all you can really ask. Bought it for our newly constructed house. The Comcast guy who came out to set up our access was jealous!

Solid router/modem combo that provides enough WiFi reach for my whole house. I was looking for an upgrade that was compatible with spectrum and this router actually got me above my internet service mbps. I'd recommend no more than 10-12 connected devices at once.

Was tired of being charged a monthly fee with infinity’s service so I bought this and couldn’t be happier. Works amazingly well and have had zero issues. I don’t have cable and I stream everything and use WiFi. This unit works great for my two person family.

Way better than renting equipment from your local ISP. This lightweight 2n1 (modem and router) can crank out 600 Mbps. Setup and network maintenance are easy via the nighthawk app. Great for my condo however if your looking to mesh your large sf home this ones probably not for you.

Terrific router for our needs. Just two people in a 2-story 1350 sq ft house. Works perfectly. Note that we had the Geek Squad set it up along with my new iMac.

This is a great combo that adapted better than what Optimum offered on their own package. The set up was a breeze and very easy to follow the directions.

Connecting to the network was perfect... connecting to the internet not so much. Spent 3 hours with 2 different tech guys from Spectrum with no results. The last tech told me the AC1200 was defective. Tried again a few weeks later with the same results. Finally the tech notice that Spectrum had the MAC address from a modem they assigned to me and not the Netgear AC1200. Change the MAC address and the AC1200 worked perfectly. Beware of you IT techs,,, this went on when the AC1200 was working perfectly because of their screw up.

I switched from the standard Cox combos to Netgear, because I could no longer handle the outages and dropped signals. Be aware that only ISP's can offer telephony ports on a modem/router, but I quit using a landline years ago, so the Netgear quality really shines, and I've had zero issues since I switched, so I was confident in this choice for a client with similar needs.

I’m really enjoying this Netgear modem/router. I’m actually getting a faster speed than I was getting with the cable modem I was using that Cox provided. I was paying a monthly rental fee for their router. I’m upset with myself that I didn’t get this sooner. It was pretty easy to set up and I haven’t had any problems at all.
