I bought this for mom so I was looking for easy to use and requiring minimal to no user effort. And that is exactly what this is. For that, I am grateful.

Comcast "phased-out" my 13-year-old Best Buy ethernet cable modem/router. I was "stuck". I'm a computer idiot. The Best Buy clerk recommended this unit for my needs. It was priced well and has worked well in my condominium townhouse since the very friendly Geek Squad® agent installed it and synced old and new Best Buy laptops to it.

It is good, I like it very much. It was easy to set up.

Good product that combines router and modem. The setup was not very easy specially with XFINITY support that took few hours

So the tldr version = Netgear knowingly makes an inferior product and tries to make money on the warranty process. If u get it, I recommend taking the BetBuy warranty which is better than what Netgear will quote u at any given time, as that term and amount varies on their whim... except when they have "promotions" knowing you're not going 2 pay the stupid amount that would more than rebuying a new modem router! Netgear used to be a trusted , sturdy powerhorse of a product. However that changed. in the last few years. I had this exact router when it died at 1yr and a few months. Because it was the cheapest I could research in a pinch I re-bought it. Netgear's stance on their product is the WORST...they only offer 2mos of tech support to stand by this product and try to sell a RIDICULOUSLY priced warranty after that. If they upsell you when you call to activate (which you HAVE to if you have no internet since you need that for the activation process)... they begin the warranty right then which means u loose your 2 months and it expires 2 years MINUS one day from date you purchase that. BEWARE, depending on when and who u call..these prices and time terms of said warranty are ALL OVER THE PLACE. When I called on my year old router that died it worked out to be more than the cost of a new device! This time I was offered a 2yr warranty for $24 which supposedly covers the whole thing if it dies before 2year...oh I mean 1year and 364 days. Some techs are exceptionally rude, to boot. IN summary, Netgear leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I'll be searching for a better product to be loyal to

The best I have ever bought had it for 4yrs I would recommend this to anyone and doesn't take up much space on ur desktop

No need the must expensive devise, just need something that work well, the internet is reachable in every room, good speed is denoted , there are many products in the market but sometime the best is the one that works for you.

This was easy to install. Worked well with my internet provider. Great speed. No more modem/router rental for me.

I had this for a while. It is a real good modem. I bought this one because I didn't want to pay Xfinity for a modem.

Bought this to replace a 4 year old netgear router. Many reason to purchase this is the built in media server. I'm using a 4 tb western digital express external harddrive.

I had problems trying to get it set up but was able to do so within a couple of days. I’m very happy with it as my other one finally but the dust. I like Netgear products and will continue to buy them in the future.

works well with xfinity !! has a strong signal thru out my 1800sq ft house !! paying for 100 mps getting 110mps worth saving $15 monthly rental fee

Excellent cable modem router for the price. Very easy setup. Only complaint is it only has one ethernet port.

This router is perfect for what I needed. Have experienced no connectivity issues, seamless integration.

Better than having to pay for monthly xfinity box rent.
