According to my IT guru, I was living in the stone ages with my prior N-router. Purchased this one and it provides much faster speeds at a greater distance. Connected two laptops, two iPhones, an iPad, and other small gadgets. Never lost the quality of my signal on any of my items. Very pleased!

It simply works. Speeds are excellent, we have any combination of three PCs, two smartphones, four tablets, Wii, Xbox 360, bluray player running at any given time. It does not lag no matter what we are running. We have 60Mbps cable internet. We also use the built in safe web search.

I bought this router even though I didn't want to spend this much initially, but I tried a less expensive one from Belkin and had nothing but problems with dropping the connection. This Netgear router has worked great from day one with all of my devices (2 Galaxy S5s, tablet, a smart tv, a Nest, and a wireless printer). The dual band is great because the smartphones and smart tv can connect to the faster band while everything else can use the other band. It has a pretty solid range as well, being in a 3 story house it reaches from the top floor to the basement decently. If you stream videos on your phone/tablet frequently and are looking to upgrade your router so you don't have to wait while it downloads before playing the video, this is a great option.

This router works great! Setup was very easy and only took a couple of minutes. I have much better range than other routers that I had in the past. Love AC. The dashboard is easy to understand and gives you a good idea of what is going on with your wireless network.

Had to replace my old belkin router because we were getting poor signal aftet we moved to a bigger home. Couldn't be happier now with the range and speed. I just wished there was more detailed manual on how to adjust setting, took me.sometimen to figure it out.

We bought the router because we were having signal strength issues. While our home is not that big (1800 sq ft) it is built in a U and has thick, solid walls. We have tried other routers, range extenders, the works. This time we investigated in a powerful router and it paid off. We have signal in every room and have no drops. It was plug and play, anyone can install this router. And as I have said it really performs! I would recommend this router, especially to resolve signal issues.

I purchased this router because it was half the price of the other new technology routers hoping that it would meet my needs. No problem there! The router is fast and covers my entire home with no problem even when five or six devices are being used.

This router has handled all of our devices with no interruption in service unlike our old router that was 1 year old. Almost like we forget that we ever had a problem. Easy to set up and easy to connect to. I would buy again if given the opportunity.

I set this up at daughter's apt building where most are using 2.4Ghz. Using the 5Ghz spectrum allowed her to use the full 75Mbps she pays for. Highly recommended if you're in an apartment.

I bought this router when my last one wasn't enough to keep up with all of my needs online. It has enough signal to easily cover my apartment with no dead spots or latency in signal or access. It has well exceeded my needs and expectations.

I chose this router as a replacement for an older Netgear router that got hit by lightning. I was hoping that the extra price I paid would equate to better performance. It does work well for half our house, about the same as our previous router. It just has a hard time reaching the ends of the house. We still have to use the extender to get good connectivity. We have that problem with every router that we have owned. Don't get me wrong, this is a good router, easy to set up, and the closer systems work great. Streaming is fast and we have very little buffering when watching videos online.

This is a great product, easy to set up & has a very fast connection. I have 2 smart phones which primarily use the connection but also have a smart TV, blu-ray player and audio receiver hooked up as well with no decrease in performance.

Very happy with the router. Easy to setup, good range to reach back bedrooms. A good choice for small to medium homes.

This was bought to replace our 'leased' router/modem from cable company. We had a ton of problems until we bought this router. So far it has worked exactly as it should. We stream online, play online games, etc. with it. I would buy again.

Sent back the garbage all in one cable router modem to cable company and bought the AC1600. Powerful pretty good range. Split my 8 devices between the two bands and works awesome!!

This router was simple to set up. We had it working in minutes. It filled a dead area in our house. We felt it was better than boosting our current signal. The kids are already taking advantage of the Ac signal. Very satisfied

Added this to extend the wireless network in my home. This has unbelievable range, I wish the regular/main wireless AP had this range. This extender covers a 4500 sqft home, 3 levels with no issue; I have a full 3 bars of strength in the full house. Handles so far 8 devices at the same time with no performance issues. Easy setup; done within 5 minutes. Just be aware you must setup both the 2Ghz and 5Ghz channels.

After converting our porch to an office, our router now resides in what was once outside the house. Our previous router had trouble pushing through what was once an exterior wall to provide coverage through the entire 1,600 sq ft house. The far end of the house either had ZERO coverage or slow/spotty coverage at best. Now we have full coverage but it does dip to 2 out of 3 bars in those areas that were once inaccessible. We haven't had any problem with getting enough bandwidth to multiple devices but it is rare that we are running Netflx on the TV, surfing on a laptop and gaming on the iPad at the same time. Working out of our home, my wife and I each run separate computers that rely on Dropbox heavily, and so far we are not disappointed. I would recommend this router to anyone.

Awesome router. Upgraded from an out of date for distance and speeds for streaming online movies and tv. Router handles it perfectly with no complaints. Easy to set up and install without any serious technical knowledge.

I bought this router to replace my comcast rental and it blows it out of the water. I tested my upload and download speeds before and after and saw a huge change in MBPS with this router. It more than doubled each speed.
