The instructions supplied for this router were very easy to implement. Once I got the router going, it was easy to set a password for wireless network and name the network using the supplied software. The router puts out consistent speed in our house through walls and from the main floor to the basement on the opposite side of the house. I can even get a decent signal from my detached garage which is 40 feet away from the router and through aluminum siding. The only qualm I have had with the router has been that it is difficult to add an external hard drive to use as a time capsule for my macbook. The macbook has a hard time connecting to the router for this purpose, and it makes me put the password into the device each and every time it wants to connect. I am not sure if this is the Apple software, or the router's issue, but if you have a macbook and you are planning on using this in conjunction with an external hard drive, it is something you should be aware of. For daily internet use with multiple devices on both bands though, this router works flawlessly, I have not had to reset it once, and our speed has been consistently excellent since we have been using it. I would not hesitate to use it for console gaming or heavy duty streaming.

We have a split level, 2800sq ft, 3 kids with multiple devices. There is not a dead zone in the house and the kids can even take their devices outside almost to the end of the block and still have perfect signal. Unless you're running a server farm, this guy does what many more expensive models do for the digital family

There is a noticeable improvement in speed and range with this router for devices that support the newest wireless standards. Configuration and setup straight forward and intuitive. Lots of blinking lights and USB features if you need or like them. Lights can be set not to blink or light.

I've had 5 wireless routers in my life. This one was the easiest to set up by far. I mostly just answer the questions and that completed the setup. My previous wireless router was over 7 years old. So it was time for a new one. The range on this router as met my needs for the 2300 sq foot townhouse I live in.

Purchased this to replace a failing WNDR4500. Setup was easy, and it shipped with the latest firmware. Found that a couple of places in my home which did not get a decent signal before are now accessible. It's been running solid since install.

I've had my new router for about 2 weeks now and it was worked really well. The range is really good. My last router would struggle when I was at the opposite end of the house or outside. I have not noticed a drop off in speed when we have multiple televisions streaming services like Netflix at the same time.

I bought this router to replace a belkin router that stopped working. After an easy 5 minute setup it was up and working flawlessly. I had to use a wi-fi extender in the past to completely cover my home but with the netgear ac-1750 the coverage is so strong i no longer need the extender.

I was in need of a reliable router for my home and picked this one up after looking at several brands and models. I am not disappointed at all! Very easy to configure and the signal is much stronger than my (very) old Linksys and D-Link routers. I was getting frustrated with constantly rebooting my old faithful router and was trying to decide if the problem was with my ISP. As a last resort, I got this to see if the problem was on my end and haven't had to reboot once in two months. It runs quickly no matter how much traffic we have on it (2 PC's, 5 phones, 1 tablet and 4 laptops all connected at once) or what is streaming. Very happy with the dual band and haven't found anything to complain about! I have used quite a few routers, switches and modems over the years and am repeatedly impressed by Netgear's products.

This thing is a beast. I have Comcast internet and I have the 105Mbps plan. My old router would work great with hard line connections, but on WiFi I couldn't get above 25Mbps, I would usually average 10-12Mbps. This new router allows my WiFi to get up to 120Mbps according to Speedtest.net. It has 2 channels, 2.4Ghz, and a 5Ghz. This is very helpful if your home has as many devices on it as mine does. We have our 2 computers on the 5G and all our phones, iPads, etc. on the 2.4G. Not once since purchasing this router have I had connection issues, my old router had issues quite often with dropped connections and slow speeds. This router easily exceeded my expectations, especially for the price I paid. I got it for $90 on black Friday. I would easily pay full price for this router though, now knowing how awesome it is.

Bought this in conjunction with buying a smart television as I wanted to go wireless with it. Love the ability to separate the faster speed for the tv from the slower speed for other wifi stuff in the house. Set-up was quite easy and it worked great the first time we used it and is still working great.

This device punched through some hefty walls with metal studs where an old Linksys router fell very short. Getting a good stable 3 bar connection where we had little to none before. Highly recommended if you're having coverage issues.

Replaced an older model router and this is living up to their claims. Speeds a little better, more stable wifi and one of the easiest setups I have ever done with all the routers I have owned. Would recommend it, bigger so takes up some space, but does a great job.

Provides coverage to my entire house, which other brands failed to do. Very high speeds. I will say that Linksys offers a more user friendly smart interface than Netgear, but Netgear's isn't terrible if you are somewhat computer savvy.

The setup was very quick and the unit has worked well. The lights are a bit bright. I am running two desktops "hard connected" to it along with using wifi for a cell phone, laptop and Directv all at the same time and my speeds are still better than Cox (my internet provider) says I should get.

Easy set up, nice web interface for managing your network. Only real down side I see is you have to name the 2.4 and 5 ghz networks different names which irks me a little but doesn't impede the functionality of it in the slightest. Has a great range with the big antennas.

I looked at a lot of routers and have been using Linksys for a number of years. But the Linksys routers just do not last or have the coverage that I read Netgear does. So for the past two months I have not had any issues, it was easy to setup and the coverage is much better than the Linksys.

My old router was starting to have issues and it was time for a new one. After reading reviews and speaking with my son, who has the same router, I ordered. All I can saw is that the set-up was so easy and have had zero problems with it since I bought it 2 months ago.

This has great signal and long distance range! I have Comcast and with their equipment, I could not leave the room that the box was hooked up in without losing all internet. Now I can walk to the complete opposite side of my house and still have all 4 bars of signal!
