Both 2GHz/5GHz speeds are usually maxed out-- excellent reliability and speed. Easy to set up & excellent security so far.

Excellent connectivity and range in a 1900 sq ft home. Just on wifi with a 60mbps I can get close to 10 megabytes per second of download speed on my games

Once I managed to get the darned thing installed and operating, the router lived up to my expectations entirely. It is fast, and the signal extends much farther than the old one did. But trying to get it to sync up with my modem so I could make an internet connection was a nightmare, and Netgear’s software was not especially helpful. I even returned the first one, thinking it was a problem with the equipment, and was just short of replacing my modem when it arbitrarily decided to behave. The lights on the router are too bright, but aside from that and the setup hassle, I am pleased with the performance.

Recent 9 year Linksys basic router failed. Excellent coverage for 1.5k sqft. Full bars at opposite end of house with great speed.

We purchased this router because we had a newer TV, cable box, etc. and wanted to upgrade the router as well. After hooking it up up per the directions it did not work and would not accept the password. It took 20 minutes on the phone with a Netgear to get it worked out.

Easy setup, better handling of my traffic needs than old router. 2 laptops, 2 TVs, 2 iPads and 2 phones on the wireless network. Just looking for some longevity out of this thing.

I was looking for wifi extenders to help solve the problem of not having a strong signal in my bed room which is maybe 50-60 feet away from the old router. After going into bestbuy I decided to purchase a new router based on the advice of the rep at the store and the cost of a quality extender being similar to a new router. I have been extremely happy with the range and the fact that this router has 2 bands. One we use for streaming solely and the second we connect our phones and tablets too. I highly recommend this router for normal usage and slight gaming.

It's worked flawlessly out of the box with easy setup. Bought for kids dorm, wish I had bought one for me as well when they were on sale.

Fantastic speeds. For a house with multiple active connections stays very balanced for gaming.
