It was fine with range and speed but then in the middle of attempting a firmware update, it bricked. It was then deemed useless. I have swapped it out for a Linksys since then, and had no issues. Firmware updates are safest to do when connected directly so I can't entirely blame this on Netgear, but their support process was also quite annoying. Best Buy protection plan to the rescue!
