This is a nice midrange product that is easy to setup. I initially used it for streaming video out from a training event. We had as many as 5 upload streams at a time through Facebook and other locations. We kept the WiFi hidden from the students and this was used for the staff. While we continued to use the upload stream the band used this to sync their music and uploads of pictures were done to Facebook. Always kept up with no issues.

2nd time I purchased this. One is for us and one is a gift. Super easy to install. Perfect for our so many gadgets WiFi.

Works great and cleared up the problems we were having with connectivity & speed.

Easy to set up and begin to use. Did have to purchase separate modem for DSL use. Both run fast and also extend distance of WiFi.

I have been extremely happy with the router. The performance is amazing and the range works really well.

Seems to get the job done, although the WiFi signal seems to get broken often. I do not know if this is an equipment issue, or related to the new house. Old one seemed to work. I was just hoping to get some additional speed. No observable difference.

Easy setup, everything is configured with default values out of the box, so you can leave it set as it and have basic security. Has plenty of power options for advanced users, and Netgear is good about updating the firmware.

Router was easy to install and increased area of use. Satisfied with choice.

I was having to restart my prior router everyday and needed an upgrade, I did my research and although this router is a little more pricey the hardware, reliability and functions this router provides exceeds the amount spent!

Upgraded my internet to allow better utilization of the camera system I got, and to help reduce the lag caused with multiple wifi devices

I purchased this router to run several laptops and phones and ipads all at the same time, and it works well with no lag in Internet service. If you have high speed Internet and are running multiple things at a time this router is a good choice.

Wireless signal is 100%. You shouldn't spend 100$ on a router if you don't understand what its purpose or function is. It WIL NOT increase or boost the packet transfer rate of your current modem. It Will extend whatever internet you already pay for to very far distances AT A VERY STABLE SIGNAL STRENGTH. This is designed for top tier speeds. 1gbps is about half of what the router can transfer.

Works great. I have had it a month and the Internet works better than our previous router.

Overall, I've always had great experiences with Netgear. I haven't had any issues with connectivity and when I stream movies, don't have any issues with buffering.

We came into the store and a very friendly, knowledgeable sales team member helped us pick this router. It is powerful and the price was great!

This router is much stronger and more reliable on service than the ASUS router that we just returned. That is main reason you have a router, so all is good. I like the network map and the ability to hook the printer to the router and make it accessible to APPLE devices. BUT... And there is always a but. That connection is not reliable and we went back to the old method of printer off and iPad, which is more work and ignores the router. Also, the nifty NETGEAR Genie keeps crashing and it appears to turn our Printer to PAUSE. More work. The HELP Desk has not provided a useful solution.

I replaced a TP-Link router with this Netgear. Our cable access is in the basment and the TP-Link AC1200 struggled to get signal upstairs. We also have a Netgear Extender to help extend the wireless broadcast. After months of struggle I finally threw in the towel. I purchased this unit and it made a difference. We are now getting better signal and throughput upstairs. The only downside is this units routing table tends to clog and requires a reboot to clear it. Once every couple of weeks. Hopefully, a firmware update will resolve this issue. That is why I give it 4 stars.
