with this product i get much better range and speed then with the router that comcast provides i wish i knew about it sooner

It was replaced as we were having a general wifi failure. The incoming cable modem also required replacement. The end result has been a much faster wifi signal, especially since we are connected via the 5g bandwidth that is not as busy as the 2g bandwidth. We are extremely satisfied with our wifi signal now & are glad we replaced it with the Netgear Nighthawk .

We have 7-8 devices connected at any one time. We were having lots of connection issues with our old N600 router. Plugged this new router in and updated connection s on all devices. No more connection issues Works great and with the free readyshare software can be set up to do backups of files to an external usb device. Haven't tried the backup feature yet though. Our house is about 1500 ft. Our internet provider speed is 65 MBS. Very good strong signal Highly recommend.

There are a bunch of routers that are "faster" in test but the numbers are not the whole story. This is the best buy for the money - the sweet spot. More options than 90% of people will ever use - VERY east port forwarding.

Replaced my old Netgear, which I say was great, with this model. Great upgrade, works so well and the Netgear web console is very easy to use and has a lot of options that are very powerful and allow / block what you need.

This device serves as a wireless router, sending my Cox signal to all my devices reliably. I went step by step in setting it up, and was pleased that after some waiting (I guess for devices to talk with each other) everything was connected. I tried the Bit Defender free offer for a month. It gets very good reviews from reliable sources. Bit Defender too was challenging to set up, but once it was in place I found I like its functions better than the AVG I have used for years.

I was having problems with our router at home and this one was recommended. Internet appears to distributed throughout the house better however still some issues when multiple devices are in use. (believed to be an issue from the internet provider).
