Excellent router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy set up using on-line Netgear program. I have the router centrally located in my 3,000 sq ft home which is single story. I get very good service and connection throughout the house and my 1/2 acre lot.. My internet speed tests show an increase of approx. 20% over my past Netgear router. Have had unit about 30 days and so far it is excellent. Highly recommend and would purchase again.

Exceeded my expectations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went into Best Buy with the intention of replacing my old WiFi Router with a similar model, but was advised by the sales associate to consider AC technology. This Netgear router outperforms my old router with a stronger signal, faster throughput, and fewer resets. I am very pleased with this unit.

Fantastic router, no hiccups at all.

Good router

Great Coverage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We’ve gotten into WiFi video streaming, but our older router (a Netgear WNDR3400) had problems connecting with one of our TV’s that’s about as far away from the router as it could be. Rather than relocating the router to a more central location, which would have required running long CAT5 cable, I chose to update the router with the idea that I could use the old router as a wired or wireless access point if necessary. In fact, this AC1750 connected flawlessly to the TV and solved the problem by itself. The signals on both 2.4 and 5 GHz are strong everywhere in the house, and the access to our USB drive works well. Our printer is connected via Ethernet so I don’t use the USB printer connection, and the 1000 base T connectivity would be great if any our devices supported it. The Alexa interface might be cute ... maybe one of these days I’ll try it. Setup was easy and the Nighthawk app provides a simple interface. All in all, this router is meeting or exceeding all expectations and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Awesome wireless router!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband I went in to BestBuy to buy the cheapest router. A sales person came up and asked if we needed help. My husband told him what we waned and the sales person suggested that we get the next model up.Or we would probably have to come back and get another one sooner then we would want.So we bought the one he suggested and we LOVE it! It is everything my husband told him we would need for our wireless house. We have 2 wireless phones.4 computers and 3 video systems they all run very well no lag time.

Fast with great range.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a router that was fast enough for gaming, and with a range that would cover a 4,000 square foot house. I can get a signal in the entire house and outside by the pool.

Works GREAT!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really didnt know much about Netgear products and had planned to buy another "big name" brand to replace my always failing ASUS router. The sales tech suggested Netgear for a whole host of reasons, and he was right. It's easy to set up, it's powerful, and I no longer have blind spots in my house. My devices now run at MAX internet speeds. I love it because I no longer have to give any thought about WI-FI.

Solved my Wi-Fi Problems
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before buying this router I was using the router provided by AT&T U-Verse. I have about 13 devices connected to Wi-Fi. Two of them are WEMO light switches that kept disconnecting from the network. I thought they were just a poor quality product. Then if I was a few feet away from the router the internet on my iPad would be dial-up speeds slow. After that my Roku would also get very slow. I tried many things, changing the password, resetting the router etc.. Then I bought this AC1750, and all my devices have worked perfectly since then. The WEMO switches always stay connected to the network. My iPad has fast internet no matter how far I am from the router. The setup process was easy, it even realized the router from AT&T had Wi-FI and took that into account during the setup. The only snag I had was when I was trying to transfer my internet connection from the AT&T router to the Netgear router, I had to connect an ethernet cable between the Netgear and my computer to complete the process. After that I disconnected the Ethernet cable and it worked perfectly. The Netgear Control Panel has many features via their app, but you will get more if you log in directly via a web browser. A few weeks ago they sent an e-mail to disable the remote access control to the Netgear router because of a security issue they are working on to resolve. I checked online before buying this router and found it was highly rated by the website thewirecutter.com
