Great Replacement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.New technology- when its replacing old technology- always seems so welcome for faster speeds, stronger signals and new capabilities. This Netgear router is no exception.

Excellent Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one powerful router, I still pick up the signal on my phone when I'm halfway down the street walking my dog. It's fast, I can stream all my shows with ease. When the cable guy came for the TV he said "that is one of the best routers", I said "I know". Lol

Great router

Handles all of my network needs with no problems.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Netgear interface is easy to navigate and has intuitive menus. Mine handles 12 devices (including our printer, Nest thermostat, Dropcam, 3 tablets, 1 laptop, a TV, 2 gaming devices, and two phones). Plus any devices my friends bring over for Fantasy football. (But I know it can handle a lot more.) My streaming, downloading, entertainment, and business work are done without network hiccups. I have used several testing apps to analyze network and band traffic, and the R6400 performs like advertised. The only thing I wish it had is the ability to dim the lights on the front of the unit just a bit.

Feature Loaded ISP Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Netgear AC1750 is a great upgrade from an ISP provided modem/router combo that you're probably renting. -Pros- Easy setup Good features for beginners and more advanced users Great coverage area Flat profile for wall mountable -Cons- Not the easiest to avoid the app they want you to use to setup (I personally didn't want to control via the app) My wife and I paired this with an Arris SB6190 to upgrade our home network since we noticed we were getting about 20mbps slower speed than what we were paying for and our modem/router combo we owned was approaching 4 years old. I assume this router is quick and easy to setup via the app if you choose to do so. I personally skipped the app which Netgear really doesn't want you to do for setup. It does come with plenty of features that one may want to use including VPN support on the router for your entire network instead of each individual device. We've also noticed that while the router is rated for 12 wifi devices (also dependent on what your ISP allows) we've not noticed any speed drops with close to 20 devices on it. A great choice for the average homeowner.

Great router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my several year old low price (about $59) router that wasn't giving good coverage. This new router gives WAY better coverage. Where my computer is normally I had 1-2 bars before and now I have a full 4 bars. Big emails come in and go out much faster and web sites come up much faster. Setup was easy. I'm very pleased with this unit.

Simple to install, very fast speeds, recommended
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally ordered a router on Amazon that was 'used-like new' saying the packaging was the only thing damaged. It came in DOA so I returned it and not wanting to wait for shipping I ordered this one on BestBuy.com and picked it up at the store. I'm glad I did! Sometimes we forget how convenient it is to pick up at an actual store where you can ask questions if needed or return if needed for another one instantly. This router is a great router that picks up a good 100 yards from my house at least and boosted my internet speeds by 5-6 times better.

Great product that gets the job done.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replace older Netgear router with the AC1750 Dual Ban Wi-Fi 5 Router and happy with the AC1750. Easy hook up with good instructions for a non-technical person like myself. Old router would drop signal almost every day. No dropping of signal with this new router. Provides great coverage for entire home of 2360 square feet.

Excellent Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This a great AC router and works really well. I have had it for around 2 months now and it works solid. Replaced my old linksys (E1200) with this one and it's a massive upgrade. The set up is super easy. 5G band is a huge boost in the speed especially since I have a 1 Gbps line. Very happy with the router. I read enough issues about the TP Link Archer C7 so got this one instead.

Nice range, fast
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got the Netgear for my sister-in_law to replace an older router that wasn't doing the job. So far so good. The AC1750 works perfectly and reaches all the remote corners of her two-level home. Her son is a big-time gamer and says the router is plenty fast enough. Setup was easy with the app.

Excellent replacement for dying CenturyLink router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router is at one end of the house in the basement, where the fibre modem is located, and broadcasts solid 2.4 and 5 GHz signals all the way to the other end of a 2-story house. It's easy to set up to replace the functions of my CenturyLink router, including logging in to CenturyLink so this is the only equipment I need. Be aware you *must* have the logon and password that your existing router uses. Fortunately you can easily get this from CenturyLink over the phone if you didn't write it down during your original installation.
