Bought to upgrade speed and it hasn't disappointed us. Ease of setup was also a plus.

Had netgear before just wanted to upgrade. Very easy setup. Good speed and signal.

Bought for networking church audio mixer with control iPads when another unit failed on a weekend. When our IT contractor came to check its exact operating band vs our regular network we found that not only did it work great through our plaster walls, the 5G connection was as good as the 2.4G at about 120 ft!

My internet service is 200 down, 15 up. With my old router, wireless would top out at around 120 down. With this new router I get around 190. Solid, dependable connection as well as great range (3 story house--router is on the second floor). We have 15 devices connected to this router. Highly recommend.

My ISP recommended I replace my Nighthawk model with this basic model for better performance and so far they are absolutely correct. My internet performance is limited to begin with due to it being over microwave (we are rural) so I cannot afford to lose any performance to the router. Good performance so far - much better than the nighthawk

When I updated my cable contract to super fast speed, my 2 year old router didn't work well. My husband (in Germany) researched the best one at BestBuy and told me to get this one. The sales person told me the best router for my needs was this one, so I was doubly coached. And it works very well. I haven't had a single issue and the speed and wifi are awesome.

The router does an excellent job with both the signal and speed. Easy install as well.

I admit< I was skeptical and was really put off by spending cash for something I felt I should'nt have to. For years I have been plagued with constant weak signals and lAG with my games, internet connections dropping and cable glitches. I caved and got one of these and it was instantly resolved. Not just a little bit , ALL OF IT!!! Highly Recommended!!!

One issue I have is that my airprinter sometimes disconnects, probably due to netgear genie and not the product itself. But still, netgear should have fixed this already.

This unit handles lots of devices and even allows you to separte which network they are added to. Have had to reboot about once every 2 weeks for optimum performance.

Nice upgrade from n300 technology without breaking the bank. Speedy, easy install.

Purchased this to replace an older router (Belkin N300), and in a 3000+ sqft home the last one was really struggling, especially with multiple WiFi cameras an devices connected. Installation was a breeze, and speeds were reliable all over the home. May need a repeater or upgrade to mesh network at some point in the future, but for now this is a solid choice.

For what I can tell it is a good router for the cost. I think it is my Internet that makes things on the slow side. Son enjoys the ability to surf the Web and play games
