upgraded a six year old dual band netgear router , and this one is a lot faster with a stronger signal. also bought it for 89.99 on black friday,

I bought it to replace an Old Netgear wireless router (it was acting up and limited wireless range). Now at home I dont have dead spots, even I have wireless at my backyard (which btw it is almost 1/3 acre). Forwarding ports easy to do, the WPS is fantastic, the dual band makes super fast internet at 5G and extended range at 2G .

The router is working great and was a good price. I’d recommend the instructions be more detailed for getting the router to be recognized by the internet service provider (in my case Spectrum). I’m not a newbie to connecting a WiFi router and this one requires some extra procedures that were a little unclear (but not difficult) vs. other routers I’ve hooked up in the past.

Good router overall, decent speed. At times will get glitchy and drop signal, has only happened a couple times.

We have laptops, desktops, gaming PCs, cell phones, etc around here and our WiFi has vastly improved since this purchase. It was super simple to set up and I love the app that comes with it. I can check our internet speed, set up guest passwords, set up parent controls, etc. I would buy this again.

I have 100 gb from Comcast in my two story home Speed test indicates 112 gb downstairs with router upstairs. Running Two Ipads, Two Iphones and a laptop and smart TV Very pleased with Netgear product and would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a router. Saved some money on the price with Best Buy price match to Amazon.

Works well and reaches every corner of our 2500 sqft house. First router to work the farthest room with stucco walls in the house.

Their devices are very easy to setup and if you ever decide you want to flash custom ROM they openly embrace this. Kongs DDWRT is a great firmware to flash to if you ever find yourself needing 'more' out of your router. My in-laws and cousins use this beastie and since setup they have had no issues, their network is fast outside any issues with comcast!

Easy to set up. I have been using this router for 2 weeks and haven't had any issue with my devices dropping off the network. I am using 8-10 devices at all times and before I got this router I would have 1 or more of them drop off the network daily or I would have to reset the old router to get all the divides to connect. I am very happy with this router!!

Super easy and fast set up! All I had to do was plug it into my modem and turn the power on! I connected all of my devices within a few minutes.

disappointed in lack of manual. setup app was effective, but having printed information would have helped clarification. dislike the bright lights...as it creates an unwanted really bright night light would recommend, but only with the above caveats

Seems very reliable for the time I have had it. This is the second one I bought. Left the other one at the other place I was living. That one is in a 1300 SQ FT house and the one I just got I am using in a condo. Might be a little bit much for the condo, but have had no issues with this Netgear router. Only issue I really have with it is the price tag. Could be a little cheaper.
