This is my second Netgear product. I've been using Netgear for my WiFi needs for at least 5 years. My former router (the N600/WNDR3400) was still functional and operating at/near it's peak design parameters but it wasn't up to what my ISP speed could do. The N600 was around 97Mb/s on average. Immediately upon installing and configuring I got better than my advertised download speed of 150Mb/sec through Cox. I use a Cisco DOCSIS 3.0 modem that I bought through Cox and have no problems whatsoever.

I have been using for more than a month and not a single issue with this router. It is powerful to handle all my more than 11 wireless devices in the house. It has good range, is stable and very good speed. I get 30% more Mbps than what i sign up for, that says it is a good router. A plenty of connectivity to use. Very good buy and highly recommend.

My last router was also a NetGear. This router was very easy to set up- I hardly had to look at the manual. During setup, the router looks at your network and asks a few questions. It recognized that I have a DSL router between it and the internet, so it told me that guest WiFi would not work well on itself (NetGear). I can use the lower power WiFi on my DSL router for guests. The router gives you the option to have different passwords on the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. The 2.4GHz band has very good range - I get 3 arcs (out of a possible 3) at a distance of 65 feet and 2 arcs at the same distance thru 4 plasterboard walls. As expected the 5Ghz band is higher speed but slightly shorter range. (the DSL modem's WiFi is a full arc less). Setting a new WiFi password and new administrative password was also very easy. The only negative that I can see is the practical but inelegant appearance of the 3 antennae. Now about 5 weeks old and no problems.

We needed to update our WiFi router to expand the signal strength now that we’re all home for work and school. This allows strong enough signal for Zoom calls and use of multiple devices all over house and above garage. Set-up couldn’t have been easier. Highly recommend.

I was using the router spectrum leases and it was garbage, the internet signal was weak and it would outright drop. I bought this router and the signal is much stronger, faster and dependable, it has some lag times but nothing compared to the previous router I was using.

I live in an old 1880's farmhouse with many small rooms and compartmentalized space. My older Airport Extreme was not allowing a signal throughout the house. This NetGear router has solved the problem completely and also the connection is much faster. I even have a signal outside in the backyard. I highly recommend this router, I have always used Airport Extreme's and I am very impressed with NetGear's. The white lights are fairly bright at night, so place it in an area where no one is sleeping. It lights up the room.

I purchased this product to improve the wifi range in my ranch style home and allow me to use wifi in all rooms. I also wanted to eliminate the interference I was getting from my neighbors more powerful wifi router. This product solved both issues. My only criticism is that, due to it's power, it's emits a slight hum and it's lights are quite bright. For these reasons I would not recommend locating it in a bedroom.
