Replaced an older router... huge improvement in speed and much better coverage throughout the house.

Upgraded to this router from an all in one cable modem. Very happy with the performance and distance.

I live in a 1br condo and although I could have chosen one with less range, I am extremely happy with this product. I haven't had an issues at all. The set up was incredibly easy. I have high Wi-Fi speed on all of my devices. I highly recommend this product.

Huge performance increase over our ISP provided router. Had plenty of range and the readyshare capability is pretty handy to transfer files to different devices. Was really surprised how easy it was to set up also.

This router gives me Wi-Fi throughout my entire house. I have a 3 bed, 2 bath raised ranch and I get a Wi-Fi signal in every inch of every room. I was getting a dead zone in my master bedroom which is above our garage. The dead zone went away as soon as I hooked it up. It was quick and easy to set up. The instructions are simple. The only thing is, I wish it stood vertically. Sitting flat takes up more room.

Was having a lot of trouble with a lesser Router, but this one works great and fast too! No more drops at all!!

I needed to extend my range for a security system. This router fir the bill. Just enough coverage without covering the neighborhood.

Excellent router. Have extensive home network and this router can adapt to existing names and passwords currently used in network so you don't have to reinstall all devices in network. Has worked perfectly since installed about 3 weeks ago.

So far, I'm really pleased with this router. I've got a 2 story home, about 1500sq ft and it easily covers every square inch of the home. I bought this one because my last one kept cutting out. So far, no cutting out, so I'm really pleased with that. The dual band is sweet. I know it may not be that big a deal but, I keep this router in the entertainment center in my living room and it is visible so I want to mention that the lights aren't overly bright. I actually quite like that. My last routers lights were very bright and were actually a bit distracting, not so with router. The setup on this router was a breeze too. Everything is done thru the app and is very easy to do. Overall, I don't have a negative this to say about it. Great buy for a great price too. I actually found it on Amazon and Best Buy price matched it.

I purchased this router to replace a Linksys router that was five years old. So glad I did. For those who have not replaced their routers in a few years, you should definitely consider it. New routers are multi-band, and this one allows "Beam Forming" (using the antennas to direct the signal to your wifi equipment) and QoS (Quality of Service) - allows you to prioritize which devices (e.g., TV streaming Netflix) gets the most access to bandwidth. The interface is quite user friendly - setup was very easy. The unit is big - much larger than my old router - but powerful and I noticed a difference immediately when downloading large files. I gave it four stars because the documentation had to be downloaded separately (go to NetGear and download the user manual to get to all the special features this router has to offer). This router is designed for homes with 10 or more wifi devices, and would certainly work as the hub to a smart home setup. There are two USB ports, 2.0 port (good for a printer) and a 3.0 port (good for fast access to an external hard drive for backing up files. So far, I'm very impressed. You can pay more for a router, but this one will do the job for most people.

Before the router, I felt that my connection was always laggy and slow after every few ours of a modem restart, since I moved to my new place. However, as soon as I did the set up, which barely took 10 minutes, my streaming and internet connectivity felt superior. You can see the video quality change for my PS Vue Streaming, and it wasn't clunky and slow anymore. I would highly recommend this router, for apartment complexes.

This item was exactly what we were looking for.... great set up and work excellent for everyone in house better coverage without anyone getting booted off the wifi... and south the added circle we can add time limits for the children..

With my old router I was able to obtain 15-20 mbps download speeds on tablet or phone (paying for 60); with the new router I consistently get 55-60 mbps on all devices. Netflix and other streaming services now work flawlessly. Range is also significantly improved. Very easy to install and set up.

Installation was a breeze, and within minutes the internet signal around the house was amazing.
