    I bought this router 1 day after installing a cable modem...I didn't realize that the TVs were fine for internet but I needed the router to get the internet signal wirelessly to my computers. I've only had it for 8 days but it appears to be working for my house, so I am happy with my internet access, speed, and coverage at this point. It was easy to set up and pair with the cable modem I bought, so I can say it is very user friendly for non-techy types. :-) I found researching other users' reviews from several websites helpful in determining which modem and router would work best with my internet provider and my household. I believe my purchases are worth the money spent and will meet my needs for awhile.

    I had a Infinity gateway (combined modem and router) which I was renting for $10/per mon and after reading many reviews decided to make a break. I bought this router and a Motorola - Arris SURFboard 600 Series DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem - White. After setting these up, my internet speeds almost tripled. I have zero issues since. Nothing more needs to be said. Bingo bango!

    Purchased this because we wanted to stop paying Xfinity for monthly rental for their router, and a friend moved and gave us their modem. I'm not very tech savvy, but the router was quite easy for me to set up by downloading the Netgear app on my husband's cell phone. (My phone was too old to download the app, so unsure how we would have been able to set it up without his.) The app led me through all the steps for setup, and it has been working great for the few weeks we've had it and we have terrific signal strength throughout our entire house and even in the car outside.
