After researching, this looked to be the best middle range ac wireless modem available at the time. It can reach my 100+ mbps connection speeds, but the range is (only just) average for its wireless AC capabilities. But overall, I am very satisfied.

Don't bother calling Netgear support with a problem if your router is 5 years old, They had me on the phone for hours, testing, which didn't solve the problem. Very satisfied with my new router. Bigger, better and I hope this one lasts 5 years also.

NETGEAR has done it again with a great wireless modem. I can get signal anywhere in the house, and extended three car garage. What I enjoyed most about this new modem was the ability to log into the modem via the internet.

This router works well for our small office. The range is much greater than some of the other routers we have had. We recommend it.

Got this because it was one of the cheaper ac routers at the store, and it works great. I live in an apartment which is usually a bit of a problem for some routers because of all the wifi networks but this one does great

Got this since my router at the time was supporting dual transmission. I have a single level house so range isnt an issue for me and Bestbuy also matched the price with Amazon. All in all a good router.

We had not bought a new router in years and actually bought a different one first and it didn’t work very well. We decided on this router with all the good reviews and have been so happy with our choice!

Used it for my personal WiFi on campus and the 5G worked well. A little slow, but that could be attributed to the main service on campus. I’d recommend it if you don’t want to wait for campus WiFi or worry about lag time when living in an apartment.

The NETGEAR R6400-100NAS router has performed wonderfully for us. Connecting to and switching between the N 2.4G and 5G is straightforward to even a novice. The AC performance is outstanding. Another fine Netgear product.

This was a great router to replace my Linksys 5 year old one. It was in the process of dying and constantly needed to be restarted to maintain my download speed. This NETGEAR router fit the bill perfectly. It was extremely easy to set up and I have had no problems with it. It was very easy to create my own password. I have had no problems with it and would absolutely buy it again. Works great with my PS4, Mac and PC. A definite buy in my book. Any questions, feel free to ask!

This has been a great router so far. I cut off my cable and have been streaming since Sling TV was released. I have been streaming with 3 different devices simultaneously with no problems. This is well worth the money.

It did exactly what it said it would do. It met the criteria that I had. I believe that the signal can be interfered with my what ever is in my walls, but it's not bad.

What an upgrade. It was time. I upgraded from a D-Link DIR-645 Whole Home Router I bought a few years prior to buying the Netgear. This thing is blazing fast!!!!! The signal is strong from anywhere in my home on 2.4ghz and 5ghz. What are you waiting for? Get it. You won't be disappointed.

The 5G signal strength is much better than I was getting with my Comcast service. Although the 5G signal does not cover the entire house, the 4G works well. I use it for the mobile devices and the 5G for the Apple TV.

Quick easy setup. Up and working in 5 minutes. Super fast blazing speed!! Previously had a netgear n600 and got max speed of 30mb’s. Getting consistently over 100mb’s with new router. Go buy one now!!!

I was purchasing a security camera system for my home and needed to upgrade my old Netgear router (which was working fine) As usual, the Best Buy person in the router area was very knowledgable and familiar with the products. I explained what I needed and she suggested this router. Anxious about installing myself, it was very easy using the Netgear Genie that pops up when you plug everything in. I only had one glitch, ended up calling Netgear, got a live person VERY quickly who told me where my mistake was in answering a question on the Genie, and he walked me through it all again. Viola- everything was fine, even my wireless printer. This router has two speeds - a 2 g and a 5 g, so you can have some of your electronics on the one speed and some on the other.

I have had zero issues with it so far and its been over a month. Way better than my last router, and its nice to have a 5G option for connecting to devices that can utilize it. It didnt take long at all to set it up, and it was a breeze to do so. Definatley recommend if your wanting a good fast router that has good range.

This is my first Netgear router and I am happy with it so far. I had been using Linksys routers previously, but they were bought out and I've heard there are now quality issues with Linksys routers. This Netgear router is a nice step-up from my previous wireless-g router. As expected, this router has better range and signal strength thru walls. The app feature is neat and it's fun to see who's on your network, but it is not a must have. I have yet to try out the usb 3.0 port to see how fast the wireless file transfer is to a external hard drive.

I purchased this router so that I could connect more devices with no impact to upload and download performance. So far I am very pleased with this router. I am able to connect 9 devices with no impact to performance.
