Our cable company modem had internal antennas. Bought an AC1750 according to the advice of a in store customer support agent. Love the unit we bought. When streaming movies to a smart TV the lag is gone. No more weak or lost wifi signal indications on our desktop computer. The prior modem routinely indicated weak or no signal on the desktop, and movie streaming routinely lagged. Very pleased with new unit performance. Been using it for a month now.

Needed a better router to connect over wider area of the house. Like the design and improved signal, even my daughter commented on the better signal this provided! And the price was right (on sale).

Needed a router because the one from frontier wasnt giving me enough range. And i only live in a 1000 sq ft apt. This gives a better range very easy to set up. Just plugged an ethernet cable out of my frontier router to betgears ethernet port and easy to use app that shows u steb by step and waaaalahhh got me a stronger signal for all my devices needing wifi

We have been using this router for a year now and it has worked wonderfully. We use multiple devices on wifi in our home as well as when guests visit and haven't had any problems.

We aren't gamers or super hi tech folks. so we don't need a high end router. We do have a big old house and the old router didn't have enough range or speed for streaming movies or reaching the far end of the house. We chose this one and it works fine. My only complaint is that the instructions say to set it up for its one network name and password. It took some figuring to ignore the instructions and put in my own network info. Then it worked fine.

With the router mounted in the attic behind a 3-flu chimney, reception has not missed a beat to my desktop, laptop, iPad, blu-ray DVD, and printer whether in the basement or 50 feet to the mailbox.

Router was recommended by a local internet company rep that was in Best Buy. I have had it for about a month and it has worked great for a strong connection anywhere in the house!

This router works throughout my whole house from basement to the second floor it works even in places my previous router didn't work. I highly recommend this wifi router and the price is not bad

This is an inexpensive router that does a supreme job with over 12 devices in the house fighting for internet time and it works like a champ. Thanks to the Best Buy experts help.

I've had this router for over 6 months now and it's the most trouble free router I've ever owned. In the past I've usually had to reset my routers here and there when things won't connect. Never once have I had to do that with this one! I have a small house, so I can't speak for extended range, but I have full coverage anywhere in my house. Speed is adequate for anything I've tried: internet video streaming, apple tv, 4k netflix, etc.

So I have Comcast with 100mb speed and the router I had b4 would only do 28mb wireless so I got this little gem and my speeds are now above 100mb now even my hard wired desktop is getting faster speeds. The range is great too. If you live by a lot of neighbors the Best thing about this is that it change the channel on its own to one that is not being use to make sure it's stays fast. It Operates at a higher frequency so your other electronics that are wireless in the house don't interfere. It also has a way to back all your files to a USB thumb drive and you can hook up your wifi printer to it and print your pictures from your phone/laptop/tablet any where even if your not at home.

I have xfinity wifi and was having difficulties with the signal throughout the house. This purchase solved that problem and we are now all able to have fast internet service throughout the house.

This router works as intended. However, the primary purpose of upgrading to a newer router was to prevent streaming issues. It seems a little better, but buffering issues are still there. All in all it is a good product.

We had our old router for several years. A Best Buy associate told us we would be amazed by this router compared to the old router. We have been very pleased with the performance of this router.

Very easy to set up and works as intended. Have multiple devices connected and found no issues. Have new phones which are ac wifi capable and I like being able to connect them to the 5GHz channel.

We purchased this router because our old one was out of date and we really like it. It has great coverage. It covers more area than our old two routers combined. We would buy again if need be.

This product is great! Set up was mainly painless, dual bands for help for faster speeds. I am puzzled though, I am getting 29MPS on speed test but when I go to YouTube to watch a video it's blurry... I've never had faster speeds on the test but seems like the video quality is worse, when I called customer service they laughed and told me that they can't get me more MPS since I'm already maxing it out.. I guess i didn't explain myself correctly. Customer service didn't seem t o be in the USA.

Fast, longer range coverage and easy setup with Genie. Not difficult to install. Highly recommend.
