Pros : It works on wireless AC, I am not techie but wireless AC is newer than wireless N and is better for connectivity. Has 2 bands, that means it can handle more devices in my house - I have currently 9 wireless devices and it is working well with them. I am getting better streaming speed for my Roku and no buffering that was my issue with old router. Overall happy with this router.
Cons : Costs over $ 120 +, Set up was not plug and play, I had to call customer support, but he was good to guide me through the setup

I got this to replace an older unit that was slower and lacked range. This unit is much faster and very stable, but I didn't get the range I had expected. It is roughly in the middle of a fairly large one story house, and it doesn't reach to the back of the far bedroom. Which means it doesn't do as it advertised. That was a disappointment. I may try to mount it higher and play with the settings to see if I can get a little more range. Able to stream Netflix with no problem.

Works good. I don't take advantage of all the features but it works well no drops or having to reboot it so far. It helped that I got a really good price on it while it was on sale.

Before we bought this we were not able to get the speed we were paying for. After using this we are able to get all of the speed, even when we have 3 TVs streaming.

This unit is easy to setup, and has great wifi range. If you have a cable isp, pair this with a ARRIS - SURFboard 16 x 4 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem - White for better performance than the all in one unit provided by the isp that they charge you for monthly. You don't need the 32x4 model unless your internet package download speed is over 300Mbps.

Fast wireless router with lots of features. Good wireless range as well. I am using this as an access point (e.g. DHCP/NAT features disabled) and it works great. I did have a minor issue when it was set to get an IP address via DHCP in Access Point mode with the latest firmware: the router would randomly revert back to normal non-access point mode. Setting the IP address manually appears to have fixed this problem. It includes a USB port to support a networked USB drive with the ability to set up multiple network shares. Most of the other features are disabled in Access Point mode. You can find a review for this drive at smallnetbuilder.com.

The AC 1750 Wireless router dual band Gigabit is a good home office router. It covers a wide range and takes on all the devices I have in my home office including all my home office staff devices. It is easy to setup and almost automatically is recognizable by all my smartphone devices where I do not have to do much except add the password to the secure the network from outside intrution. Overall good product for any home office requiring to connect several devices.

So far we have been using it for around a month. It has been good experience. There has been minimum change in internet speed. the range is good enough for our 1000 sq. ft home. We even get 2.4 Ghz range in the bottom floor outside the apartment. And it covers each and every corner of the home equally. Good product.

Is is an awesome router for the price. It has features like auto back up, network sharing, and control it's settings from your mobile device. The best thing about it is its range.

I got this router for use in my apartment between my roommate and I. Everything works great, the signal covers the entire apartment, the router interface is okay, and it has enough ethernet ports to accommodate all our devices. The only real issue I have is how bright the lights on the box are. In such a small apartment, at night, the box lights up the whole room which is a bit of a problem. Other than that, great product

It puts out a strong signal. i live in a townhouse, so i have 2 floors. The wifi coverage is strong on both floors. Internet access is very fast. My only complaint is about the bright white lights on the unit. They're distracting when watching TV. I had to buy some shaded covers from Amazon to cover them. They should make them blue. Other than that, it's a great product.

I didn't buy into the idea of needing to upgrade your router every few years until I bought this. The router alone increased my speeds 3-4x! I actually found I get faster speeds than I pay for. Setup was pretty easy and I very much liked the app and online features. You can pay for some nice extra online type features too.

Good product, but NETGEAR tech support lacking

This item is working very well, but I am disappointed with NETGEAR's tech support. I had to contact them three times, and each time the representative told me there was a different problem that prevented my computer from recognizing the router. I was told to return the first unit I purchased, and did. When the second unit also wouldn't work the tech couldn't help me to connect, suggesting that I needed to once again return the router. I called again and the third tech said my computer needed some drivers updated and I needed to get a knowledgeable techie in to work on it. After hanging up, I rebooted, then waited for awhile, rebooted again, and WOW...I was connected, and all is now working very well.

After reading reviews and talking to the associate at Best Buy this is exactly what we needed. As promised it supports all of our devices (currently 4 plus a smart dvd) at one time. And what we were really looking for was being able to stream on our tv at the same time as using devices without any interruption. This works beautifully for that. It also gives us the capability to upgrade our tv if we choose to.

Great router, first time using a Netgear. It replaced a similarly priced dual band Linksys that experienced a lot of droputs on the 5GHz band within the home. The Netgear performed much better..no dropouts. Even wifi mode it gets at least the full 300 Mbps download speed from my ISP; I've checked and compared speed with wifi and directly into my router; no latency with wifi . Very happy with the purchase.

I bought a new Linksys router, and it kept disconnecting from wifi. This Netgear router was a cinch to set up and have had no issues with it since setting it up.
