Review of Netgear Router
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second Netgear AC1750 Dual Band WiFi Router that I have purchased in the last year and a half. Both are in service and I like the fact that I can control the options from my smart phone. It is fast and easy to install and configure the network to my liking. A great buy for the money spent.

Powerful and Reasonably Priced
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Netgear AC1750 to replace my aging N900. What a difference. This router provides full internet speed, 200+ Mbps, through 3 walls, on the 5Ghz band and about 1/2 of that on the 2.4Ghz band. Also, it is WiFi 5 compatible. The N900 was an upright model, this one lies flat on the table or you can mount it on a vertical surface to save space. The only issue i had was with the setup instructions. It appears Netgear expects you to scan the miracode provided on the protective film on the unit with a smartphone to continue the setup. If you simply plug it into your PC via an ethernet cable the unit will not connect to the internet until you log into the router (routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1) and register the unit. I'm sure I missed that point somewhere but it is not on the quick start card packed with the router. Everything else will be familiar to anybody with a Netgear router. The AC1750 is my 3rd and by far the best router I have ever owned. My neighbor was impressed enough to also buy this router.

Router is a big improvement to my previous one.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Netgear router I purchased has a much stronger signal than my old router. The three antenna make the signal strong and the signal covers a larger area.

Good range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this only as a wireless between my big presonus mixer and the iPad mini I use as a remote. It is critical that it has good range and speed so the adjustments I make to the sound happen without interruption. I have no problem with this router even hundreds of feet away from the big mixer. I can stand anywhere in the venue or outside in a field and still operate remote to the stage.

No Complaints So Far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this router to replace a 12 year-old Apple Airport. It was very simple to set up... I didn't have to call my ISP, which is always a blessing. I was able to change the name of the router so that all our devices could find it. All-in-all, it took about 30 minutes. The speed is good, for both upload and download. My family can have 4 devices going, including and Xbox. And the range is pretty good too.

Works great so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My last wi-fi router would not reach my daughters room. As you can imagine that caused no end to the complaining. Well, this one does not have those issues. The signal is strong across the house. The setup was easy. It was strange using the app on my phone to do it, but it was actually easy to do. This is a nice router for the price!

Great router, good price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this router because the docsis 3.1 modem I needed for Xfinity did not come with wi-fi. While somewhat difficult to set up the tech support over the phone from Netgear was superb! Once set up I have great coverage throughout the house and the speed is fast.

Great throughput speed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My ATT Uverse RG Wi-Fi was really slowing down my entire network. I needed speed for video on demand. This did the trick, I bypassed the built in ATT Wi-Fi and changed the appropriate settings on the Uverse interface and now I get the internet speed that I pay for from any Wi-Fi connected device in the house. My range has also been greatly extended with this router. I AM HAPPY.

easy set up, works great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical about buying a router, but my internet service was cutting in and out and I kept being told by the cable co that it wasnt on their end. I was so frustrated that I couldn't run 2-3 devices at the same time. We decided to give this a shot. It worked!! we have four kids and 3 tvs and we don't have any trouble anymore!! I was easy to set up and it does exactly what it says. I was very happy with my purchase
