It's easy to hook up but need to install the Nighthawk App from App Stores. Easy step by step instructions. I made it work in half an hour. It's light and does not take that much space. It's easy to restart for best performance. I am glad Best Buy Salesman recommended it. Thank You Best Buy!!!

We had an outdated Netgear router with a remote expander. With 6 people in the family using many devices, it was time for an upgrade. After talking to the sales associate, We went with this one. what a difference!! No more lagging and much faster speed. Would recommend this product to anyone.

This NETGEAR router is a great performer. It provides outstanding signal strength with it's ability to have up to 12 devices on the network.

Essential after COVID, to get better coverage for our whole house. Have it set up as an extender. There is a limit to the bandwidth (doesn't carry all our ATT bandwidth we have on our ATT router) but never have trouble with multiple devices, fast on 5G.

Streaming 6 devices at the same time with no issues. I like this router slot after my last one gave out after 3 years of use

I've been very happy with this Netgear router - it was a breeze to set up connected to my Spectrum cable modem. Wi-Fi coverage is good, but I've had to put in at least one addition Wi-Fi access point since some areas of my house don't get a great signal. Would definitely buy again.

This is a great unit. Plugged a USB 3.0 4TB WD hard drive into it, and set up all the passwords. Unit performs well, and has not needed rebooting at all. 2.4 Ghz band is usable two houses away from a smart phone, while 5 Ghz band is shorter range, but much faster. Easily streams 4K video to a Fire TV and Roku.

I purchased this router for my daughter who is in college. She has 3 roommates and they have 11 devices all sharing this router! So far she tells me they have had no issues with the router at all. TV's, computers, phones and gaming have all worked without any problems. Also, the item was on sale so I thought is was a great bargain!

My old router died and I was fearful about what it would take to install a new one. I wanted to just find the exact duplicate router to make it easy. When I found out that it was no longer available, I bought this NETGEAR router and was pleasantly surprised with the ease of installation and the results - a faster, more powerful router.

I purchased this router as a replacement for a 5 year old DLlink. So far, it has performed as advertised, I have experienced no issues with it.

My old router finally died. The tech at Best Buy indicated this would be a great replacement and more than sufficient to take care of my needs.

This router has stronger signals for downstairs but didn't take care of the upstairs. I just installed the netgear extender for upstairs and all is good now.

The quality of the wireless connectivity is very good. It easily handles all of my family's devises. I particularly like the NetGear app for my Android phone.

I constant had trouble with 3 models of Linksys routers always having to restart/reset. Well no more I had this for 30 days and not a single problem. Once you find the right channels necessary compatible with your devices and set up with no interference for your wifi, it's all perfect. Netgear team will help you with proper setup and they are fast!

This is a really well designed router! The installation process took maybe 10 minutes! I love how Netgear created an app that you can download on your phone to help you set up the router! I just moved into a new house and at first tried a Linksys router because it was cheaper, but it gave me so much headache installing it (I was never actually successful in installing it) that I turned around and returned it. Bought this gem the very next day! I only will write reviews when a product really impresses me and this router did exactly that! Compared to the hours of headache and the plain wrong instructions the other Linksys router had, this Netgear router was a complete breeze to install and use! The app is intuitive and so helpful with showing you all the details you'd need like which devices are connected and a whole slew of info that you don't get with the other guys! This is a 10/10 router! Will never buy anything but Netgear again!

No issues at all so far. I have 2 consoles, 2 laptops and my smart tv hooked up along with 4 phones. Never had a lag issue

I needed a wireless router that took advantage of the internet speeds I'm paying for. This hit the spot. We have at any one time from 5 to 10 devices pulling wireless internet from this router and not only has it drastically increased the speed of my internet but we've had much fewer issues with lag. I would recommend this over and over again.

Upon getting router home, it was so easy to set up and once set up with the easy Genie app my speed and use of wireless is much better.
