Purchased one for me and then six months later for my father. 4000 sf + homes and the range and signal are great.

This is the second Netgear Router that I've had and like the first one it was very easy to set up. I've had it about a month and to date it has had a very good strong and stable signal. The Netgear genie app for the MAC makes it very easy to access the controls. I have not had a chance to work with the Virtual Private Network yet.

Previously owned the Netgear WNDR3400-100NAS which was great a few years ago, but recently began having trouble with dropped connections. Compared this model with several other Netgear (Nighthawk) models at Best Buy and ultimately decided on this model. My previous router 2.4 ghz download speeds capped out at 20mbps. This model I easily & consisently get 70-80 mbps download on 2.4 ghz & over 100-112 mbps on 5 ghz, which is slightly over the max. speed per my ISP plan. The WiFi range easily covers a 1500 sq foot home and can also get a great signal outdoors while outdoors—-2.4 ghz provides up to 70 more feet outdoors while maintaining data speeds; 5 ghz also reaches outdoors up to 70 feet but the speeds tend to degrade at that range. Many of my IOT devices (switches, thermostat) are on the 2.4 ghz band and anything that requires access to fast internet (PCs, tablets, streaming devices) connects to 5 ghz band. In all, it’s a great WiFi router and definitely recommend.

had router up and running in about 30 minutes. no real problems in setting up and getting all devices to see and get on the router.

Have had this router in play for well over a year without any issues. Handles a house full of users.

Bought this to replace the discontinued Apple Airport. Worth mentioning that I thought Apple products were simple - but this Netgear wins. Ridiculous how fast it was up and working and the companion app is awesome. Performance is excellent with Docsis 3.1 modem.

Works better than expected and it gives you a choice between two wifi speeds. Easy to setup and use.

I'm not a technical person so I can't tell you much about this item's technical performance. But after 30 days of use I perceive no issues. It was easy to install as well - just plug it in and it basically installed itself. The signal reaches all areas of the home including the far side of the second story.

Easy setup this router has seriously improved my speeds compared to my previous router. Great buy!

Easy and qiuck installation. Had to replace Belkin after last firmware update which caused disconnects etc. The Netgear R6400 hardware and software is much nicer. Using it on a wireless network with 2 Kindles, 3 PCs, a wireless Brother MFC printer/fax/copier/scanner and a wired VOID MagicJack. Everything works as expected. Also have a 32G flash drive on the USB 3.0 connector to share network content. PCs are 2 Windows XP and 1 Windows 10. THANK YOU NetGEAR!

I didn't know my old router was slow until I started using this one. Browsing the internet is much quicker and the 5ghz bandwidth is great for streaming high bitrate video, even across the house. I've had this think hooked up for 6 months now and haven't had to reboot it once. Well worth the price.

Use it for streaming movies for my bedroom and not using up the bandwidth on wireless vety naive and easy setup

Router works great. I have three smart TV's and three smart phones and two iPads all working flawlessly off this net gear router. We live in a 3200 SQ FT. house and have no issues with signal strength . Was easy to set up and I really like having the net gear genie app on my phone to access the router .

The Netgear AC1750 was just as advertised - small footprint, easy user friendly setup and quite the coverage, handling multiple devices. There is a noticeable lack of dropped WiFi compared to my older Belkin router and definitely faster WiFi speeds. The purchase at Best Buy couldn't have been easier.

I upgraded my router to this and I can see the difference. I do a l of streaming and I have not had to worry about blurred pictures or the freeze to load the video. I have on 8 devices in my house. And I have no problem using 4-5 at the same time.

Very easy to setup and connect to. I like the app that we can use to see who is logged in.

My old NETGEAR router stopped working (although its extender still worked, strange). At Best Buy's recommendation I bought this router and found it is better than the old one, faster and farther. No extender is needed.

I reall like this router, it has a greeat range at an affordable price, easy to setup and install using Netgears Nighthawk App for Apple or Android. I can stream 4 K and it interacts well with my Ipads and Android phone.

Performs as stated. Very satisfied and would recommend this to anyone that is in need of a router.

Replaced my local garbage isp router with this and it opened a whole new world. Solid bandwidth and easy to use app.
