Our old router quit working and I needed a new router quickly as Thanksgiving was in a couple days and our family was coming in town with mutiple devices needing WiFi. I wanted a dual band but other than that I didn't know much else about them. I looked at prices and I wanted picked this one because of price and reviews. It seems to be working well all over our home and rec room downstairs. I do not like the brilliant lights shining out of the top. It like an airport runway at night. I keep it in livingroom and it surely lights that up at night mre than I like. I am often up at night having troube sleeping ad that is way too much light glaring at me. I"ve tried surrounding it with picture frames to block it but it still shines up on the wall and ceiling. So depending where you are going to place it keep that in mind.

Great router. Working perfectly so far. I originally bought the router to replace a cheap one I had. Amazing the night and day difference you can get just by spending a little more money. Only thing I don't like is size, my old on was so tiny I could put it anywhere. This one you have to make space for.

The router is great. My WiFi hadn't gone off since I bought it. I needed a newer, stronger one to stream Netflix and Amazon Prime

Looked at several brands this one is up to date great quality good range would recommend this product to anyone

I reall like this router, it has a greeat range at an affordable price, easy to setup and install using Netgears Nighthawk App for Apple or Android. I can stream 4 K and it interacts well with my Ipads and Android phone.

Basic set up was easy, but if you have a more complicated situation like I do - i.e. NAT drives and DMZ's...then it takes a bit of poking around the software. All the same...this is a powerful unit, and worth every penny. I highly recommend.

Solid performer, reasonable speed, easy installation.

A definite improvement over my 5 year old Netgear router. Works great for gaming and streaming on the same network.

Had the netgear n300 best thing I did was upgrading to the ac1750 can tell difference from signal it puts out

My ten year old router finally bit the dust. I read many reviews online and decided to go with the Netgear R6400. I am very satisfied with my purchase. No problems setting it up and I am not tech savvy. I live in a two bedroom home, so it more than meets my needs. I would recommend this router.

I have a 2,800 square foot home, and my previous WiFi in my home office barely sent the signal past the home office. This new Netgear AC Wireless router not only has great features, like easy backup, but it sends a strong signal throughout my entire home. I would definitely recommend this product!

Not to six items on the Wi-Fi. Doesn't have a Slowdown issue and does everything it needs to do.

We have gigabit internet provided by our university. With this Netgear router, I can get download speeds of over 400 mbps and upload speeds of over 300 mbps. I have been very happy with it, especially for the price. I didn't have to fork out over $200 to take advantage of our fast internet service.

This is a newer model of router out by Netgear. It combines a lot of the features they are famous for, as well as higher speeds. As the owner of an IT firm, I never have any fears about recommending the higher end products provided by Netgear. Setup is very simple and performance is amazing.

I bought this one after reading most of the specs of the half dozen or so routers in stock at Best Buy that day. It had all the features I needed to support one wired computer, one wireless computer, two tablets and 2 phones, plus a couple of occasional visitors wifi connections. All for less than half the price of the high end models with just a few more bells and whistles. Already have recommended it to one relative.

My old router started dropping connection had to upgrade, and glad I did. This router does everything I need it to All through an easy to use phone app. Set up was quick, WiFi was up and running within half an hour of getting home!

At first getting it started was an challange,but that could have just be me.we have 60megs download speed now and it is flawless.we have multiple wireless devices that work great all at the same time.I can be outside working (45 feet away)and never lose reception.our tv is hard wired,for Netflix and is super fast.I like the app you can download for it also (Android and Apple).you can see what devices are on your network also.it work great with WiFi printers.
